Infusion of drugs
An at least partly implantable system for injecting a substance into a patient's body. The system comprises at least one flexibly bendable infusion needle with a tip end of each of said at least one infusion needle arranged in at least one first housing for penetrating the first housing's outer wall in at least one penetration area and having the respective other end arranged in at least one second housing, the first and second housings being adapted for implantation inside the patient's body, wherein the at least one second housing is provided for implantation inside the patient's body remote from the at least one first housing and wherein the injection needle is sufficiently long to bridge the distance from the at least one second housing for remote implantation to the at least one first housing and further through the first housing up to the outer wall of the first housing. The system further comprises at least one drive unit adapted for being coupled to the at least one infusion needle and arranged at least for advancing the tip end of the at least one infusion needle so that the at least one infusion needle penetrates with the tip end or ends thereof said at least one first housing's outer wall in said at least one penetration area.
Ionic polymers comprising fluorescent or colored reporter groups
Polymers comprising first and second fluorescent or colored moieties on the polymer backbone and two or more charged moieties on the polymer backbone between the first and second colored or fluorescent moieties are provided. The polymers are useful as fluorescent or colored dyes. Methods associated with preparation and use of such polymers are also provided.

Control of illumination spectra for LCD displays
Color conversion films for a LCD (liquid crystal display) having RGB (red, green, blue) color filters, as well as such displays, formulations, precursors and methods are provided, which improve display performances with respect to color gamut, energy efficiency, materials and costs. The color conversion films absorb backlight illumination and convert the energy to green and/or red emission at high efficiency, specified wavelength ranges and narrow emission peaks. Film integration and display configurations further enhance the display performance with color conversion films utilizing various color conversion elements and possibly patterned and/or integrated with a crosstalk blocking matrix. For example, color conversion and/or assistant dyes may be used to enhance spectral regions transmitted through the color filters and shape the illumination spectrum, to improve efficiency and performance.
Reactive leuco compounds and compositions comprising the same
A leuco composition comprises at least one reactive leuco compound, which reactive leuco compound comprises a leuco moiety and at least one reactive moiety covalently bound to the leuco moiety. A laundry care composition comprises a laundry care ingredient and a leuco composition. A method of treating a textile comprises the steps of (i) treating a textile with an aqueous solution containing a leuco composition, (ii) optionally, rinsing the textile, and (iii) drying the textile.
MOLECULAR RENAL PROBES FOR DETECTING ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY

OLIGOMER-SELECTIVE FLUORESCENT INDICATOR DYES
Amyloids have been known to arise from many different proteins and polypeptides. These polypeptide chains generally form β-sheet structures that aggregate into long fibers; however, identical polypeptides can fold into multiple distinct amyloid conformations. The diversity of the conformations may have led to different forms of the prion diseases. In particular, large populations of small globular amyloid oligomers (gOs) and curvilinear fibrils (CFs) precede the formation of late-stage rigid fibrils (RFs), and have been implicated in amyloid toxicity. As disclosed herein, triarylmethane f dye crystal violet is a highly selective indicator of gOs and CFs. Therefore, disclosed herein are compositions, kits, and methods for detecting amyloids in a tissue, either in vitro or in vivo.
