RED COLOR FILTER PHOTORESIST
The present invention relates a red color filter photoresist. The present invention adopts rhodamine and its derivatives with high dye uptake as a red dye, in combination with red and yellow pigment systems, to form a mixed dye-pigment red color filter photoresist that satisfies current requirements of wide color gamut and processing requirements of LCDs, which prevents that development of red color filter photoresist stagnates and leads to problems of products such as white points and dark state color points, and is advantageous to realize a liquid crystal display with wider color gamut.
POLYMER DYE FOR DETECTING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND STRUCTURE FOR DETECTING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
A polymer dye includes at least one repeating unit represented by the following structural formula 1 and at least one selected from the group consisting of repeating units represented by the following structural formulas 2 and 3.
##STR00001##
Hydrogen peroxide present in or generated through enzymatic reaction in a biological sample can be detected by using the polymer dye.
Manufacturing method of rhodamine dye oligomer, solid color material and liquid crystal display device
A manufacturing method of a rhodamine dye oligomer, a solid color material, and a liquid crystal display device are provided. By oligomerization of rhodamine dyes, monodispersion of rhodamine dyes can be achieved, preventing the enhanced shoulder peak caused by aggregation of rhodamine dye molecules, Meanwhile, the purification of color gamut is achieved, and the thermal stability of rhodamine dyes is increased, thereby meeting the need of liquid crystal display devices. Moreover, applying the rhodamine dye oligomer to the solid color material and fabricating the solid color film for application in the liquid crystal display devices can prevent a great loss of brightness of display devices.

Compounds useful as fluorescent or colored dyes are disclosed. The compounds have the following structure (I): ##STR00001##
including stereoisomers, salts and tautomers thereof, wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, L.sup.1, L.sup.2, L.sup.3, L.sup.4, L.sup.5, L.sup.6, M.sup.1, M.sup.2, A, q, w and n are as defined herein. Methods associated with preparation and use of such compounds are also provided.
METHOD FOR CALIBRATING FLUORESCENT PLATE READERS
The present invention relates to a fluorescent polymer cast on the surface of wells of a plate and a plate comprising the fluorescent polymer. The plate is used in a method for calibrating read-out values of plate readers. The method for calibrating the plate readers can effectively reduce the deviation of read-out values among different plate readers.
Light harvesting multichromophore compositions and methods of using the same
Light harvesting luminescent multichromophores that are configured upon excitation to transfer energy to, and amplify the emission from, an acceptor signaling chromophore in energy-receiving proximity therewith are provided. Also provided are compositions for labelling a target. The labelling composition may include a donor light harvesting multichromophore and an acceptor signaling chromophore in energy-receiving proximity to the donor light harvesting multichromophore. Also provided is an aqueous composition for labelling a target, including: a donor light harvesting multichromophore; an acceptor signaling chromophore in energy-receiving proximity therewith; and a sensor biomolecule. Methods for using the subject compositions are also provided.
Transformation of binary data to non-binary data for storage in non-volatile memory
A data storage system and method are provided for storing data in non-volatile memory devices. Binary data is received for storage in a non-volatile memory device. The binary data is converted into non-binary data comprising base-X values, where X is an integer greater than two. The non-binary data is encoded to generate a codeword and the codeword is written to a wordline of the non-volatile memory device.
