The recess and the pin has a width which varies along the longitudinal direction (L), thereby forming insertion portions of the recess and core portions of the pin, and respective locking portions. The locking portions are provided with grooves and protrusions. The disclosure further relates to a second furniture part comprising a male part of the joint and to a method of forming a furniture part with a female part of a joint.
