FENGYCIN FAMILY LIPOPEPTIDES IN PEST CONTROL
An application of fengycin family lipopeptides in pest control is provided, and Fengycin family lipopeptides are used for pest control, with especially strong killing effects on Homoptera and Coleoptera pests. A method is provided for treating seeds with fengycin to protect seeds and plant organs formed later from pests, so as to protect seeds from pests by coating the fengycin family lipopeptides on the surface of seeds.

PIGM GENE RELATED TO NILAPARVATA LUGENS (STÅL) REPRODUCTION AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A nucleotide sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO.1. The gene encodes mannosyltransferase I. The gene plays an important role in the normal reproductive development of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål). Inhibition of the function of the gene may reduce the survival rate of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) and hinder embryonic development. With respect to reduction of the survival rate of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) and hindering of embryonic development, the present invention can reduce the harm of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) to rice by killing the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål). By using the characteristic that the nucleotide sequence of a highly conserved target gene has no homology with the nucleotide sequence of natural enemies of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål), RNA interference is performed at a nucleic acid level, to avoid the harm to non-target organisms such as natural enemies, thereby realizing green control of the Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) while controlling pests.
FORMULATION OF INSECTICIDES COMPRISING PROPYLENE CARBONATE
The invention relates to insecticidal active ingredient formulations comprising at least one active ingredient or a combination of active ingredients in solid form having good storage stability at high and low temperatures and high active ingredient penetration, to a process for production thereof and to the use thereof for application of the active ingredients present.

OXYGEN IMPERMEABLE PORPHYRIN PHOTOSENSITIZER FILM COMPOSITION FOR APPLICATION TO PLANTS
A composition for application to a plant is provided. The composition includes a photosensitizer that generates reactive oxygen species in the presence of light and oxygen, the photosensitizer being selected from the group consisting of a porphyrin, a reduced porphyrin and a combination thereof; a film-forming agent, the film-forming agent forming a film that is substantially impermeable to oxygen when in a non-hydrated state; an antioxidant agent; and an aqueous carrier in which the photosensitizer, the film-forming agent and the antioxidant agent are solubilized and/or dispersed. The composition is used for improving the health of a plant.
Vespidae wasp repellent
The objective of the present invention is to provide a repellent which has a selectivity. Specifically, the repellent does not cause damage to an Apidae bee but suppresses the aggression of a Vespidae wasp and prevents a Vespidae wasp from coming close and building a nest. Also, the objective of the present invention is to provide a method for repelling a Vespidae wasp. The Vespidae wasp repellent according to the present invention is characterized in comprising a compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active component: ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom or the like, X is a C.sub.1-4 alkylene group or the like, α is a substituent, n is an integer of 0 or more and 5 or less.
BIOLOGICAL PESTICIDE FUNGUS EFFECTIVE AGAINST MULTIPLE DIFFERENT SPECIES OF INSECT
Compositions and methods for insect control are provided. In one example, a method of producing a mycoinsecticide composition comprises: preparing a starter culture to grow a strain of B.bassiana fungus; freezing and storing the prepared starter culture to obtain a fungus mixture; treating the stored fungus mixture to obtain a fungus liquid containing the grown B.bassiana fungus; treating and/or formulating the fungus liquid to obtain the mycoinsecticide composition; and packaging the mycoinsecticide composition. The B.bassiana fungus is preferably of the strain JTDRL-RC5A-HSSE deposited under NRRL Number 67768.
