COLORIZED MICRON SIZED FREE FLOWING FILLERS
20200140650 · 2020-05-07 ·

Disclosed are compositions of fillers coated with adhesion promoting material alone, or also coated with an additive, processes for producing the coated fillers, the fillers obtained from those processes, and methods of using the coated fillers. The filler particle(s) are surface-treated with a component which assists in the adhesion/adherence of an additive to the filler particles, resulting in the desired additive-coated fillers. The filler, adhesion promoting material and additive can be mixed in slurry and dried, and the resulting filler particles are directly useful in many applications, such as paper coatings, plastic compositions (both foamed and non-foamed), inks, paints, cosmetics, textiles and the like, wherever such fillers now find application. Preferably, the additive is a colorant.

Sustainable adsorbable polymers

The present invention relates to an aqueous suspension of mineral pigment materials having high solids content, which contain dispersing agents and/or grinding agents based on renewable sources, and methods for preparing such a suspension and its use.

Dry liquid

A dry liquid, comprising at least one additive having a molar mass greater than 20 g/mol, a melting temperature less than 500 C., and a boiling point, measured at 101325 Pa, greater than 100 C. and at least one calcium carbonate as a carrier material, wherein the calcium carbonate is precipitated calcium carbonate. The dry liquid is suitable in particular for introducing at least one preferably fluid additive into a chemical composition.
