20170079426 · 2017-03-23 ·

A stackable wooden crate that can be assembled and disassembled without tools, and stored flat is provided. The crate may include: two sides with box joint tabs, two sides with matching box joint recesses, a bottom, and a lid. The sides may come together at box joints held together with strap binding that stretches tight when the sides are folded 90 degrees to each other. A modified strap binding on one corner of the box is held tight via a tensioner buckle. The bottom is held captive by the four sides. The lid rests between four tabs that extend upward out of all four sides. When the lid is removed, multiple crates can be stacked, the upper crate held in place by the lower crate's four tabs which interface with recesses on the bottom of the upper crate

Universal method of structural design and assembly
09556605 · 2017-01-31 ·

A structural system and method of assembly comprising structural members with slots, and interior structural members. Specific structural members are sequentially interconnected in rigid alignment. A first structural member is positioned with two upward facing slots. Additional structural members are added by engaging downward facing slots of the additional structure members with upward facing slots of the prior structural member. The structural members further include engagement features in cooperating slots. A protruding features engages a recess to retain the engaged structural members. The features may be a partial sphere and a matching recess which may be disassembly, or a tapered protrusion having a squared-off rear edge which resists disassembly, or one of a variety of shapes.

A frame system is disclosed, including a first elongated body mechanically coupled to a first cylindrical male fitting and a second cylindrical male fitting. A second body is mechanically coupled to a first female fitting and a second female fitting. A third elongated body is mechanically coupled to a third cylindrical male fitting and a fourth cylindrical male fitting. A forth body is mechanically coupled to a third female fitting and a fourth female fitting. The first female fitting of the second body slidably receives the first cylindrical male fitting to fasten the second body to the first elongated body. The second female fitting slidably receives the third cylindrical male fitting to fasten the second body to the third elongated body. The third female fitting slidably receives the fourth cylindrical male fitting to fasten the fourth body to the third elongated body.

Modular furnishing block
12593913 · 2026-04-07 · ·

A modular furnishing block is engageable with another such block to create a modular furnishing block assembly. The block comprises a perimeter wall with a raised first formation on one surface and a recessed second formation on the opposite surface. When two blocks engage, the perimeter walls abut each other. The width of the first formation along the perimeter wall reduces as it rises from the surface, while the width of the second formation reduces as it recesses from the opposite surface. This design allows the first formation to fit progressively more closely within the second formation as the blocks are moved towards engagement. The resulting assembly creates a seamless and secure connection between the modular furnishing blocks, enabling versatile and customizable furniture arrangements.
