ADJUSTABLE SEAT AND LEANING APPARATUS
An adjustable seating solution that enables users to adjust several seating characteristics is disclosed. In a relatively low sitting position, the disclosed device provides some support if the user leans back, but predominately supports the user's weight and requires the user to engage core muscles to maintain good posture. The disclosed apparatus enables the user to adjust the seat upward to a leaning position. A platform extends forward under the user's feet to ensure that when the user leans against the seat, the apparatus remains stable. The apparatus enables the seat portion to be tilted, such that varying contours can be selected to engage the user's body in a desired way. At low heights, the user can tilt the seat portion forward to require the user to further engage core muscles while seated. At higher heights, the user can customize the contour of the seat that engages the user's body.

CHAIR EQUIPPED WITH SUPPORTER FOR SHOULDER
The present invention relates to a chair equipped with supporter for shoulder which can obtain an effect of attitude remedy by reducing the pressure applied to the spine and by inducing an upright attitude of erecting the waist vertically through the supporter for shoulder which is connected to the hip supporter through the base and which comprises the supporter for armpit provided above the supporter, and in addition which can maximize convenience and enable the multi-purpose use by selecting the use and non-use of the supporter for arm or the supporter for shoulder through the direction change through up-down or forward-rearward direction rotation of the supporter for arm or through the folding of the supporter for armpit of the supporter for shoulder through the rotation shaft.
The chair equipped with supporter for shoulder according to the present invention comprises: a base; a hip supporter provided above the base; a supporter for shoulder comprising a supporter connected to the base and protruding to both sides of the hip supporter, and a supporter for armpit provided above the supporter; and a supporter for arm connected to the base and provided below the supporter for armpit.
DEVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AND PROMPTING CHANGE OF SITTING POSITION
A tilting device for controlling a seat and prompting a change in a sitting position may include a fixed portion, connectable to a base of a chair; a movable portion connectable to a seat of the chair; a joint, positioned between the fixed portion and the movable portion configured to allow relative movement of movable portion with respect to fixed portion around at least two axes; and at least two actuators. The at least two axes may be orthogonal to each other and to an axis of the base of the chair. The device may further include a controller configured to control the operation of the at least two actuators. The device may further include at least one sensor configured to send an indication to the controller when a weight is placed on a seat of the chair. A system and a method are also described.
Seating assembly for improved seating, ergonomic chairs or wheelchairs
The invention relates to a seating assembly (100) comprising a basic frame (101), a seat unit (102), and a back-support unit (103) wherein the seat unit and the back-support unit have a common pivoting axis (P) with respect to the frame at the level of the hip joint. Hence, based on human body like biomechanics and physiognomy, the seating assembly, particularly for ergonomic chairs or wheelchairs, provides a highly improved seating comfort, even with therapeutic effect.

Link chair action
A (recliner) chair action of relatively movable seat frame (11), (back) drive frame (12) and yoke frame (13), with intervening links (16, 17, 18, 19), independently grouped respectively between seat frame and drive frame and between drive frame and yoke frame; for seat translation and elevation upon back recline operable under a potential energy function in an inter-relationship between back recline and seat movement, for a common or harmonious experience between different occupancy weights.
