An inorganic coating solution composition including an alkali metal silicate, a curing agent, a dispersant, a defoamer, and a solvent, wherein the curing agent is phosphoric acid (H.sub.2PO.sub.4), the dispersant is at least one selected from among Tween 20, Tween 40, Tween 60, Tween 80, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol 400 and polyvinyl alcohol, and the defoamer is at least one selected from among a silicone-based defoamer, an alcohol-based defoamer, a mineral oil-based defoamer and a powder defoamer.

The invention discloses an anti-corrosion coating with low through-hole ratio for steel rebars. The composition of coating includes 45-70 weight percent feldspar powder, 15-30 weight percent borax, 10-20 weight percent calcium tetraborate, 5-15 weight percent fluorspar, 4-8 weight percent clay, 1-10 weight percent adhesion agent, and 1-1.5 weight percent thickener. This invention also discloses a coating method using above-mentioned anti-corrosion coating. The method includes seven steps: 1. dry mixing, 2. wet mixing, 3. pretreatment, 4. coating, 5. baking, 6. sintering, 7. cooling down at room temperature. The coating of this invention has outstanding anti-corrosion resistance, extremely high toughness, and good durability.

Coated insulation material substrate

A coated insulation material comprising an insulation material substrate and a coating on at least part of a surface of the insulation material substrate and wherein the coating comprises 20 to 65 wt % alkali silicate based on the total weight of the cured coating and the alkali silicate comprises potassium silicate. Also described is an aqueous coating composition useful in providing the insulation material coating, a potassium silicate coating, methods of producing the coated insulation material and potassium silicate coating and kit of parts including an insulation material substrate and either the aqueous coating composition or the potassium silicate coating.
