The method includes the steps of: (1) applying a lower layer resin and an upper layer resin; (2) forming a resin layer having the uneven structure on a surface thereof by pressing a mold against the lower layer resin and the upper layer resin from the upper layer resin side in the state where the applied lower layer resin and upper layer resin are stacked; and (3) curing the resin layer, the lower layer resin containing at least one kind of first monomer that contains no fluorine atoms, the upper layer resin containing a fluorine-containing monomer and at least one kind of second monomer that contains no fluorine atoms, at least one of the first monomer and the second monomer containing a compatible monomer that is compatible with the fluorine-containing monomer and being dissolved in the lower layer resin and the upper layer resin.
NON-ABLATIVE MULTI-LAYER COATINGS FOR BOAT AND MARINA STRUCTURES THAT PREVENT WATER-DERIVED DAMAGE, CORROSION, AND DETERIORATION FROM BIOLOGICAL CHEMICAL PROCESSES
Methods of protecting a submerged surface include applying an adhesion-promoting layer onto a surface. An inner polymer layer is applied onto the adhesion-promoting layer. The inner polymer layer is impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage. An outer polymer layer is applied onto the inner polymer layer. The outer polymer layer is impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage and that repels biofouling organisms to prevent invasion of the inner polymer layer.

Slippery self-lubricating polymer surfaces
The present disclosure describes a strategy to create self-healing, slippery self-lubricating polymers. Lubricating liquids with affinities to polymers can be utilized to get absorbed within the polymer and form a lubricant layer (of the lubricating liquid) on the polymer. The lubricant layer can repel a wide range of materials, including simple and complex fluids (water, hydrocarbons, crude oil and bodily fluids), restore liquid-repellency after physical damage, and resist ice, microorganisms and insects adhesion. Some exemplary applications where self-lubricating polymers will be useful include energy-efficient, friction-reduction fluid handling and transportation, medical devices, anti-icing, optical sensing, and as self-cleaning, and anti-fouling materials operating in extreme environments.

Polysiloxane-based fouling control coating systems
The present application discloses novel multilayer polysiloxane-based fouling control coating systems having included therein active constituents like biocides and/or enzymes. Further, the polysiloxane-based layers may individually have included as a part thereof hydrophilic oligomer/polymer moieties, and/or said may further comprising one or more hydrophilic-modified polysiloxane oils.
Environmental-friendly antifouling agent and antifouling paint, multi-layer protective film structure and use thereof
The environmental-friendly antifouling agent includes a furan oxime and/or furan oxime metal complex, which has not only good antifouling performance, low toxicity and high efficiency and environmental friendliness. The ecological toxicity of the non-target organism is less than 15% of that of metals such as copper and chromium and organic matters such as benzoxazole, and the excellent barrier property of the furan ring structure itself on small molecules such as oxygen and water vapor can also significantly improve the barrier effect of a coating on a typical corrosive factor. The antifouling agent combined with an antifouling coating system can greatly improve the corrosion resistance of the coating system. Meanwhile, such the antifouling agent is easy to synthesize, can be well compatible with self-polishing resins, corrosion type resins and the like.
