The present invention relates to a process for electroplating an adhesive composition onto at least one conductive element, in which the conductive element is placed in contact with the adhesive composition comprising: a phosphate salt and a resin based on: a compound A1, compound A1 being chosen from a compound A11 comprising at least two functions, one of these functions being a hydroxymethyl function and the other being an aldehyde function or a hydroxymethyl function, or a compound A12 comprising at least one aldehyde function, or a mixture of a compound A11 and of a compound A12; and a phenol A21. A potential difference is applied between the conductive element and the adhesive composition to coat the conductive element with an adhesive layer.

An electrocoating composition is provided herein. The electrocoating composition includes an aqueous carrier. The electrocoating composition further includes a film forming binder. The film forming binder includes an epoxy-amine adduct and a blocked polyisocyanate crosslinking agent. The electrocoating composition further includes an anti-crater agent selected from the group of a polyester resin dispersion, a polyacrylate resin dispersion, and a combination thereof. The electrocoating composition further includes a supplemental anti-crater agent including a polyether modified polysiloxane.

The electrodeposition dispersion of the present invention is an electrodeposition dispersion for electrodepositing an electrodeposited film on a conductive base material, the solution including water, a dispersion medium, and a solid component, in which the solid component includes a polyimide-based resin and a fluorine-based resin, the fluorine-based resin content included in the solid component is in a range of 72 mass % or more and 95 mass % or less, an average particle diameter of the solid component dispersed in the water and the dispersion medium is 50 nm or more and 500 nm or less, and a standard deviation of the particle diameter of the solid component is 250 nm or less.
FLUORORESIN-CONTAINING ELECTRODEPOSITION COATING MATERIAL
Provided is a fluororesin-containing electrodeposition coating composition which, although being an electrodeposition coating material, has sufficient storage stability. The electrodeposition coating composition comprises: a fluorocopolymer comprising perhaloolefin units, units of a monomer represented by the following general formula (1), units of a carboxylated vinyl monomer, and units of a hydroxylated vinyl monomer; and an acrylic polymer. The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for preparing a cationic electrodeposition coating composition that contains a bismuth compound and exhibits excellent coating material stability, curability, coating film appearance and the like. The present invention provides a method for preparing a cationic electrodeposition coating composition, which comprises a step for mixing a resin emulsion (i) and a pigment-dispersed paste, and wherein: the resin emulsion (i) contains an aminated resin (A) and a blocked isocyanate curing agent (B); the pigment-dispersed paste contains a bismuth mixture (C) that is obtained by mixing a bismuth compound (c1) and an organic acid (c2) in advance, a pigment-dispersed resin (D), an amine-modified epoxy resin emulsion (ii) that contains an amine-modified epoxy resin (E), and a pigment (F); the pigment-dispersed resin (D) has a hydroxyl number of 20-120 mgKOH/g; and the amine-modified epoxy resin (E) has a hydroxyl number of 150-650 mgKOH/g.
