ELECTRICALLY INSULATING, THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE COATINGS FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND DEPOSITION METHODS THEREOF
An electric machine includes a rotor assembly having a rotor core that extends in an axial direction and a stator assembly surrounding and coaxial with the rotor assembly. The stator assembly includes a stator core having slots extending in a radial direction into an inner surface of the stator core and extending axially from a first end surface to a second end surface of the stator core. The stator assembly includes stator coil windings disposed within the respective slots of the stator core and a first electrically insulating conformal coating disposed between the stator core and the stator coil windings. The conformal coating includes a polymer matrix impregnated with an effective amount of thermally conductive ceramic materials, above a percolation threshold, that form continuous thermal pathways across a thickness of the first coating.
CORROSION-RESISTANT COATING OF REINFORCING STELL FOR MARINE CONCRETE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
A preparation method for a corrosion-resistant coating of a reinforcing steel for marine concrete, comprising the steps: (1) pretreating the surface of a reinforcing steel; (2) preparing self-repairing corrosion microcapsules; (3) preparing a cathodic electrophoresis coating; (4) carrying out cathodic electrophoresis; and (5) curing. The electrophoresis coating of the present invention contains the self-repairing corrosion microcapsules, metal powder, and graphene oxide powder. The corrosion resistance of the coating is improved under the co-action of the self-repairing properties of the self-repairing microcapsules and cathodic protection. The corrosion-resistant coating has excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, prolonging the service life of reinforcing steel. It is widely used for the protection of reinforcing steels for marine concrete, and also for the protection of metal structures in general environment.
ELECTROPHORETIC MEDIA INCLUDING CHARGE CONTROL AGENTS COMPRISING QUARTENARY AMINES AND UNSATURATED POLYMERIC TAILS
Improved formulations of electrophoretic media that can be incorporated into displays, front plane laminates, inverted front plane laminates, or color changing films. The formulations include a non-polar fluid, a plurality of first charged particles, and charge control agents (CCA) including a quaternary amine and an unsaturated polymeric tail comprising monomers of at least 10 carbon atoms in length. The formulations show improved switching speeds, as well as a larger dynamic range at low temperatures (i.e., below about 0° C.), where compared to state-of-the-art electrophoretic media.
PRIMING COMPOSITION FOR CREATING A LIGHT ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PRIMING COATING
The invention relates to electrically conductive coatings, in particular to electrically conductive priming coatings of parts before they undergo electrostatic painting, as well as to priming compositions for creating such coatings (priming coatings). The present invention proposes a priming composition for creating a light, electrically conductive priming coating on a part prior to electrostatic painting, said priming composition comprising single-wall and/or double-wall carbon nanotubes at a concentration of greater than 0.005 wt. % and less than 0.1 wt. %, and having a degree of grinding of the priming composition of not more than 20 microns. The technical result of applying such a priming composition is a light, electrically conductive priming coating with a specific surface resistance of less than 10.sup.9 Ω/sq and a light reflection coefficient (LRV) of at least 60%. The present invention also proposes a method for preparing a priming composition and a light, electrically conducting priming coating.
