Coating or inks compositions comprising starch derivatives, their uses and substrates comprising such compositions
This application relates to coating and inks compositions comprising starch derivatives, their uses and substrates comprising such compositions.
Ink compositions
Polyurethanes containing at least one bisphosphonate group, as well as related compositions, articles, and methods, are disclosed.
Method for forming flexible cover lens films
Display modules typically incorporate a transparent hard material such as glass on the outside of the module in order to better protect the display stack from scratches, dents, and other mechanical deformations. However, as displays move to novel form factors such as bendable, foldable, and reliable display modules, these transparent hard materials (e.g., glass) may not be used due to their limited flexibility. Therefore, it is desirable that replacement materials be sufficiently flexible while maintaining the desirable optical (e.g., >90% transmission and low yellow index) and mechanical properties (e.g., pencil hardness>H) that comparable glass hard materials offer.

Putty paint
A putty paint compound for marking on a substrate, and a method and system of manufacturing a putty paint compound for marking on a substrate, are provided. In embodiments, the putty paint compound has a putty-like consistency that provides a delivery system for dye. In embodiments, a dye is dispersed into an elastic, pliable compound that maintains a putty-like form. When the compound is applied to a substrate having an activator, the dye dispersed in the compound creates a marking on the substrate that corresponds to the shape of the compound contacting the substrate. In further embodiments, the shape of the putty paint compound may be manipulated to provide a desired marking on a substrate, which may be altered by repeated or varied applications of one or more putty paint compounds.
PHOTOCURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION
An object of the present invention is to provide a photocurable resin composition having excellent thick-film curability and further excellent storage stability, and a cured product of the photocurable resin composition has a high concealing effect.
The present invention is a photocurable resin composition containing components (A) to (E): a component (A): a leuco dye; a component (B): a photoacid generator; a component (C): a radical polymerizable compound (except for a (meth)acrylate having a tertiary amine skeleton); a component (D): a photoradical polymerization initiator; and a component (E): a tertiary amine compound.
ADHESIVE FILM AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present invention provides an adhesive film hardly suffering from fisheyes and deposition of dirt and dusts thereonto and having excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance as well as good adhesion properties, which can be suitably used as various surface protective films, etc. The present invention relates to an adhesive film comprising a polyester film and an adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the polyester film, in which the adhesive layer comprises a resin having a glass transition point of not higher than 0° C., and an antistatic agent, and a thickness of the adhesive layer is not more than 10 μm.
AQUEOUS COATING COMPOSITIONS HAVING LOW OR ZERO VOCS AND COMPRISING ENCAPSULATED OR POLYMER ADSORBED PIGMENTS AND LETDOWN BINDERS
The present invention provides aqueous compositions useful as zero VOC coating compositions having a % opacifying pigment volume concentration (% OPVC) of from 2 to 25 and comprising (i) an opacifier composition of an at least partially polymer encapsulated opacifying pigment, a polymer opacifying pigment composite or their mixtures, with the opacifying pigment, encapsulated in and/or as a composite with at least one soft polymer having a measured glass transition temperature (measured Tg) of 5° C. or less, and (ii) a hard binder polymer having a measured Tg of at least 30° C. and a weight average particle size of 120 nm or less, wherein the ratio of the weight average particle size of the opacifier composition to that of the hard binder polymer is from 2:1 to 12:1 and the volume ratio of the opacifying pigment to the soft polymer solids in the opacifier composition is from 2:5 to 1:1
METAL AZO PIGMENTS
The novel yellow metal azo pigments based on at least three metal azo compounds, which differ at least in the type of metal, have improved colour strengths and are of excellent suitability for pigmentation of pigment preparations for a broad field of use.
