The method for applying an antimicrobial coating composition may include contacting a polymer, one or more wetting agents, one or more solvents, and one or more reactive silanes with one another to prepare an antimicrobial coating composition, homogenizing the antimicrobial coating composition, applying the antimicrobial coating composition to a substrate, and allowing the antimicrobial coating composition to dry at ambient conditions.

Ether amine compositions and coatings
The present technology relates generally to aqueous dispersion or emulsion compositions that include a polymeric binder resin and an ether amine. Provided are a photosensitive composition including a coloring material A including a pigment, a pigment derivative B, and a dispersant C, in which the pigment derivative B includes a pigment derivative B1 in which a maximum value of a molar absorption coefficient in a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm is 3000 L.Math.mol.sup.−1.Math.cm.sup.−1 or less, the dispersant C includes a dispersant C1 having an ethylenically unsaturated bond-containing group, and a total content of the coloring material A and the pigment derivative B in a total solid content of the photosensitive composition is 50% by mass or more; a film formed of the photosensitive composition; an optical filter, a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device.
COMPOSITION, FILM, CURED FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CURED FILM, AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A first object of the present invention is to provide a composition that contains electromagnetic wave absorbing particles and has excellent dispersion stability. A second object of the present invention is to provide a film and a cured film that are formed using the aforementioned composition and a manufacturing method of a cured film. A third object of the present invention is to provide an electronic component including a cured film formed using the aforementioned composition.
The composition according to an aspect of the present invention contains electromagnetic wave absorbing particles, a dispersant, and a solvent.
The composition absorbs electromagnetic waves in a frequency band of 1 GHz or higher when formed into a film.

A paint comprises a zinc powder, a binder made of an organic resin, calcium sulfate, and a dispersant, wherein a content of the calcium sulfate is 0.046 to 0.186 mol per 100 g of a heating residue of a coating film (from which sulfate added is excluded), a weight ratio of zinc to a dried coating film from which the calcium sulfate is excluded is 70 wt %, a weight ratio of the dispersant to the calcium sulfate is 0.05 to 0.5 wt %, and the dispersant is constituted by at least one of a block copolymer having a basic group with pigment affinity, an oil-soluble non-ionic active agent, and a polyether-modified silicone.

Provided are a film which can be decorated even against a three-dimensional shape, is excellent in moldability during decoration (adhesion) on an adherend, is able to reduce concaves and convexes with a variety of sizes which the adherend surface has, and makes an appearance quality favorable; and a decorative molded product having the film. The film is a film including a layer containing a thermoplastic resin, wherein when a highest temperature of glass transition temperatures of the film is designated as Tg [+ C], a temperature T [° C.] at which an elongation at break is 50% or more exists in a range of Tg to (Tg+50 [° C.]), and when, with respect to concaves and convexes of an abrasive grain surface of a polyester film sheet having, as an abrasive grain, aluminum oxide having a grain size of 12 μm coated thereon, an amplitude relative to a spatial frequency f is designated as A.sub.1(f); with respect to concaves and convexes of a film surface when adhering the film to the abrasive grain surface at any temperature of the range of Tg to (Tg+50 [° C.]) and a pressure of 0.3 MPa, an amplitude relative to the spatial frequency f is designated as A.sub.2(f); and a ratio of A.sub.2(f) to A.sub.1(f) is designated as ϕ(f)=A.sub.2(f)/A.sub.1(f), a minimum value fc of spatial frequencies where ϕ(f) is 0.1 is 2.0 mm.sup.−1 or less.
