Anti-glare film and polarizer with the same
An anti-glare film is disclosed. The anti-glare film comprises a transparent substrate and an anti-glare layer comprising an acrylic binder resin, a polyether-modified siloxane and a plurality of silica nanoparticles, wherein the silica nanoparticles are flocculated into a micro-floccule with an average secondary particle diameter of 1,500 nm to 3,100 nm. The present anti-glare film can provide a reliable anti-glare property with low haze and fine surface.
Temperature indicator for culinary article
The invention relates to a particle with a core-shell structure, the core of which comprises at least one thermochromic semiconductor and the shell comprises at least two layers—an inner layer in contact with the core and comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material; and—an outer layer comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material, different from that of the inner layer. The invention also relates to a method for producing this particle, and the use thereof as a temperature indicator, in particular in a culinary article, such as a pan.
Multilayer coating film forming method
Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film including the following steps (1) to (4): (1) applying a base paint (X) to a substrate to form a base coating film; (2) applying a specific effect pigment dispersion (Y) to the base coating film formed in step (1) to form an effect coating film with a specific dry film thickness; (3) applying a clear paint (Z) to the effect coating film formed in step (2) to form a clear coating film; and (4) heating the uncured base coating film, the uncured effect coating film, and the uncured clear coating film formed in steps (1) to (3) to simultaneously cure these three coating films.
THERMALLY CURABLE PIEZOELECTRIC COMPOSITES AND USE THEREOF IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Parts made by additive manufacturing are often structural in nature, rather than having functional properties conveyed by a polymer or other component present therein. Printed parts having piezoelectric properties may be formed using compositions comprising a plurality of piezoelectric particles and a polymer material comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer and at least one thermally curable polymer precursor. At a sufficient temperature, the at least one thermally curable polymer precursor may undergo a reaction, optionally also undergoing a reaction with the piezoelectric particles, and form an at least partially cured printed part. The piezoelectric particles may be mixed with the polymer material and remain substantially non-agglomerated when combined with the polymer material. The compositions may define a form factor such as a composite filament, a composite pellet, or an extrudable composite paste, which may be utilized in forming printed part by extrusion, layer-by-layer deposition, and thermal curing.
CONDUCTIVE POLYMER ADHESIVE AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
Disclosed is a conductive polymer composite according to various embodiments of the present invention in order to implement the above-described object. The conductive polymer composite may include a polymer adhesive which includes a curable polymer and a curing agent, a conductive filler made of a metal having electrical properties, and a substituting agent configured to substitute for or remove a lubricant layer applied on the conductive filler.
ANTICORROSIVE NON-SKID COATING COMPOSITION
An anticorrosive non-skid coating composition is disclosed herein, including at least one curable resin, at least one curing agent, sacrificial metal particles, and at least one carbonaceous material.
Method for improving corrosion resistance of vinyl ester resin
A method for improving corrosion resistance of vinyl ester resin is provided, which belongs to the technical field of polymer materials. The method includes adding vinyl ester resin into a MXene nanosheet solution and evaporating the solvent; then adding cobalt isooctoate promoter and butanone peroxide initiator in sequence, standing for curing after defoaming, and then heating.
Application of amine functionalized organo silane fatty acid combo system as corrosion inhibitors in the clear emissive permanent coatings on aluminum/zinc alloy
Disclosed is a composition for applying a clear or translucent emissive coating on an aluminum containing surface. The composition includes, in a dispersion, 50 to 300 g/l of at least one of clear or translucent organic polymeric substances of a binder, and 30 to 300 g/l of sheet silicate pigments having a TE value for the thermal emissivity of at least 0.40, having a particle size distribution of which d.sub.50 is in the range of 0.3 to 80 μm and having been comminuted, disintegrated, exfoliated or any combination of these to thin particles. The composition additionally includes the reaction product of at least one aminefunctionalized organosilane and/or oligomer and/or polymer thereof and at least one fatty acid. The molar ratio of the amino group/s of the at least one amine-functionalized organosilane and/or oligomer and/or polymer thereof and of the at least one fatty acid is 1.2:1 to 1:2.
