Method and apparatus for cushioning the joint between adjoining pieces of furniture
Method and apparatus for a device for cushioning the joint between two pieces of modular sectional furniture. The device has a top plate connected by a resilient member to a base support plate so that the base support plate can support the movable top plate so that when a user sits down on a piece of furniture made of individual joining sectional members the user will not feel discomfort from the space between the two pieces of furniture. The device is installed over adjacent frame members of the furniture.
UNITARY COMPONENT FOR SECTIONAL SEATING APPARATUS
A frame for a unitary component of a sectional seating apparatus having a corner portion having a foundation and an elongate lateral portion having a foundation, interconnected by a longitudinal foundation member extending along a back side of the foundations and a transverse foundation member commonly supporting a side edge of the corner portion and supporting a side edge of the lateral portion intermediate opposing ends of the unitary component.

A SEAT MODULE AND TILT MECHANISM
There is described a seat module for use in furniture for sitting, the seat module comprising a backrest (1) and a seat (2) and a coupling element (3), the backrest (1) being adapted to run along rear grooves (7) arranged in respective sides of the coupling element at its rear edge, a rear portion of the seat (2) is connected to the backrest (1) and a front portion of the seat (2) is adapted to run along front grooves (9) arranged in respective sides of the coupling element in its leading edge. The seat module further comprises a tilting mechanism (15-19) connecting the coupling element with a support member or base (4).
Chair assemblies, modular components for use within chair assemblies, and parts for use within the modular components
Chair assemblies (e.g., rocker style chairs, fixed position chairs, chairs with pivoting seats, tables and trays, a sub-combination thereof, or a combination thereof) are provided. More particularly, chair assemblies (e.g., rocker style chairs, fixed position chairs, chairs with pivoting seats, tables and trays, a sub-combination thereof, or a combination thereof), modular components for use within the chairs, parts for use within the modular components and related manufacturing and installation methods are provided.
CHAIR LINKING SYSTEM
A linking system for folding chairs and a method for linking folding chairs in rows. The linking system includes a first linking member having two spaced-apart, u-shaped first recesses on a first side thereof and a slit on each end thereof, wherein each slit is parallel to an axis defined by the u-shaped recesses; a second linking member having two spaced-apart, u-shaped second recesses on a second side thereof and two spaced-apart, u-shaped third recesses on a third side thereof, wherein the u-shaped third recesses are spaced further apart than the second recesses and the third side is orthogonal to the second side; and a third linking member having two spaced-apart, u-shaped fourth recesses on a fourth side thereof. The first, second and third linking members are configured to snappingly engage tubular members of adjacent folding chairs.

Beam seating system
A beam seating assembly has a frame supporting a seating surface. A beam secures to a first support and extends in a longitudinal direction. A channel is located the beam free of the first support. The frame has a lower portion with a connector that is insertable into the channel transverse to the longitudinal direction and the connector, once inserted into the channel, is retained from removal out of the channel in a direction. The connector is insertable into a first portion of the channel and a second portion of the connector rotatable into a second portion of the channel and then slidable away from the first portion such that the first and second portions of the connector are retained within the channel but are slidable in the longitudinal direction until the connector is fixedly secured to the beam. The frame is made in certain aspects from a flat plate.
Stackable chair
A stacking chair with a frame connected to a rotating seating portion and backrest portion each of the seating portion and backrest portion having matching profiles such that when stacked the weight of the chairs is distributed across facing surfaces that nest together due to matching profiles, the seating portion may rotate through an angle of rotation greater than 90 degrees and the seating and/or backrest portions may include a injection molded foam interior surrounding an internal frame and with a removable cover on the outside of the foam.
