Inkjet recording device and inkjet recording method
An inkjet recording device including: a recorder; a mover; and a hardware processor, wherein a pair of recording heads having recording elements in overlapping arrangement ranges in a width direction are at positions different in one movement direction orthogonal to the width direction, ink changes the phase to a solid in a time shorter than a difference between times when the ink adheres to a same position in the one movement direction, the hardware processor performs recording control of causing a selected recording element to perform an output operation to each position in the one movement direction and determines an execution order of output operations such that the output operation by each of downstream-side recording elements is performed twice or more continuously and at least a part of the output operations by upstream-side recording elements is not continuous.
METHOD FOR APPLYING AN IMAGE
The present invention relates to a method for applying an image onto a recording medium. Using the method according to the present invention, images may be printed having a predetermined gloss. The method further enables to make prints having local differences in gloss level. The present invention further relates to an ink-jet printing apparatus.
INKJET INK AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
The composite particles contained in an inkjet ink are particles of a composite of a polyester resin having a sulfur atom-containing polar group and a dye. The polyester resin is non-crystalline. The polyester resin has a first repeating unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid having the sulfur atom-containing polar group, a second repeating unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid having no sulfur atom-containing polar group, and a third repeating unit derived from a polyhydric alcohol. The content percentage of the first repeating unit relative to a total amount of the first repeating unit and the second repeating unit is 1 to 10 mol %. The content percentage of the polyester resin relative to the composite particles is 50% by mass or more and less than 100% by mass.
Wetness indicator compositions comprising leuco dyes
The present invention relates to wetness indicator compositions that comprise at least one leuco dye and one color developer in a hot-melt adhesive matrix. Upon contact with water or with water-containing fluids, said wetness indicator compositions are apt to change their color from a colorless state to a colorful state or from a first colored state to a second colored state having a color different from the first one; in particular, from a first colorless, white, or translucent state to a second state having a visible color, or vice versa. The disclosed wetness indicator compositions can be used as wetness/fluid indicators in various applications, e.g. in packaging articles and in absorbent articles; in an absorbent mat or sheet or operatory cloth for medical use; in a wound dressing product; in an absorbent mat or sheet for food products.

Printable non-curable thixotropic hot melt composition
A printable non-curable thixotropic hot melt composition is described. The composition comprises non-curable holt melt waxes transformed into a thixotropic composition by the use of thickeners. The thickeners can be added separately to the hot melt wax or formed in-situ. A process of forming such printable non-curable thixotropic hot melt composition is described.

A printable non-curable thixotropic hot melt composition is described. The composition comprises non-curable holt melt waxes transformed into a thixotropic composition by the use of thickeners. The thickeners can be added separately to the hot melt wax or formed in-situ, either before or after application to the substrate. A process of forming such printable non-curable thixotropic hot melt composition is described.
