Furniture with integrated storage compartments
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for furniture with integrated internal storage chambers that are sealable and operable to contain items.
FOLDABLE BACKREST
a foldable backrest, including a backrest plate, operatively configured to be leaned upon by a back of a user. A support plate pivotally connected to the backrest plate operatively configured to be placed on a surface on which a user desires to sit or lay down on. One or more movable rigid wedges configured to form a desired angle between the backrest plate and the support plate in respect to the pivot connection between the backrest plate and the support plate. One or more wedge-stopping means for fixing the movable rigid wedge in a position for forming the desired angle. The one or more movable rigid wedge(s) configured to transfer mechanical support to the backrest plate from a surface on which support plate is positioned when the rigid wedge is fixed in a desired position by the wedge-stopping means.
Backpack with chair conversion
A backpack is manipulable between a first configuration facilitating carrying by a user and a second configuration serving as a chair. The backpack comprises first and second sections, each defining a first and second surfaces and each including a pair of inwardly foldable wings. A web of fabric material flexibly couples the first section to the second section so that the two sections can be manipulated between the aforementioned configurations. A closure mechanism retains the first surface of the first section and the first surface of the second section in facing relation, following inward folding of the first and second pairs of wings and manipulation of the backpack into the first configuration, but is releasable to facilitate manipulation of the first section relative to the second section to thereby obtain a desired angle of recline therebetween.
INFLATABLE AND RECONFIGURABLE PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
The present invention provides light weight, easily stowed in small spaces inflatable chairs, pads, and flotation devices all from a relatively simple combination of at least two inflatable drop stitch panels which can be held in position relative to each other by use of straps, or in other embodiments, by additional inflatable side panels which provide arms and support to hold the chair upright on the ground. Simple hinges can be used to connect the panels together in desired configurations, either as fixed deployments or as adjustable and convertible deployments, where in one deployment, the panels for a chair, and in another, a flat pad, which can be used as a float or as a ground pad for camping.
Back strain alleviating and rail fishing assisting fishing rod harness with rotatably engaging pole receptacles and rod sliding channel
An apparatus wearable on a torso of a user to support a fishing rod has a primary panel defining an upper partially spherical socket and a lower partially spherical socket receptive to a partially spherical joint member coupled to a fishing rod in a rotating engagement. A partially spherical joint member slides in a partially cylindrical groove extending from the upper partially spherical socket to the lower partially spherical socket partially spherical joint member. A harness member secures the primary panel to the torso and redirects horizontal forces against the primary panel to a vertical direction. With a butt seat attached to the primary panel, user gains leverage during rail fishing by applying a pulling weight force on the primary panel and the rod while seated thereon.
Buoyant Pool Lounge Chair
A buoyant pool lounge chair is disclosed. In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair, frame members collectively form an open chair frame with buoyant cushions forming a chair seat and a backrest as well as a left arm rest and a right arm rest. The left arm rest and the right arm rest are each intersected by a cup holder. A recess in the cup holder has a forward tilt relative to a horizontal axis having an angle between approximately 20 degrees and approximately 40 degrees toward the front end of the buoyant pool lounge chair. In operation, when the buoyant pool lounge chair is supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, the forward tilt of the cup holder provides a compensating-leveling mechanism that mitigates spilling of liquid in the cup when the cup is placed within the cup holder.
Foldable watercraft chair
A watercraft chair. The watercraft chair is made of a frame assembly with a seat frame, a backrest frame and a footrest frame. A covering is disposed over the frame assembly. A plurality of fasteners extends from the backrest frame to attach the watercraft chair to a watercraft. The watercraft chair is movable between a folded and usable position.
FURNITURE WITH INTEGRATED STORAGE COMPARTMENTS
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for furniture with integrated internal storage chambers that are sealable and operable to contain items.
Folding chair having sunshade
A folding lounge chair includes a seat section and a back section connected by a canopy section. An optional leg extensions section may be pivotally attached to the front of the seat section. The back section includes an adjustable back stand for adjusting the angle of the back section of the chair. The sections are connected to each other by hinge mechanisms that allow the chair to be folded. The panel section includes two lateral attachment straps. U-shaped ribs may be attached to the lateral attachment strips and a canopy may be formed by a canvas extending over the ribs. The canopy may optionally include events to minimize the effect of strong winds. The canopy may also optionally include pockets for storing items. Two shoulder straps on the back of the back section may be used to carry the chair in the folded position.
Air inflation device for inflating air support furniture and method of using the same
An air support article of air inflatable furniture comprises an air inflation device. The air inflation device provides an openable and closable opening into the sack that forms the majority of the article. The air inflation device comprises at least one pliable flap attached to the sack. The flap acts as a partial check valve that allows the article to be inflated simply by rapidly opening and closing the opening.
