WATER-RESISTANT FILM LAYER AND ARTICLE THEREOF
A water-resistant film layer, a preparation method therefor, and a product. The water-resistant film layer is formed on a surface of a substrate by one or more compounds shown in general formula (I) by means of a plasma chemical vapor deposition method, i.e., R.sub.1R.sub.2═R.sub.3R.sub.4(I), wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently selected from one of a group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, haloalkyl, and aryl, at least one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 is halogen, and R.sub.4 is a hydrophobic functional group, typically having a fluorine-containing alky structure.

PROTECTIVE COATING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
The specific embodiment of the present disclosure provides a protective coating. An anticorrosive coating having a compact rigid molecular structure is formed by plasma polymerization coating of monomers including alicyclic epoxy structural units, and a hydrophobic coating is simultaneously formed by plasma polymerization coating on the anticorrosive coating, thus, coatings with excellent protective performance to the substrate are formed.

POLYCARBONATE BASED COMPOSITE COATINGS
Two-component polycarbonate-based composite products are contemplated in which the composite is formed as the cured reaction product of a polycarbonate polyurethane dispersed within an aqueous colloid along with a coalescent agent, a secondary polymer additive dispersed within the aqueous colloid, and a secondary polymer crosslinker. The aqueous colloidal dispersion may be applied as a coating to a surface that is intended to be coated and subsequently permitted to react and dry, resulting in the formation of a coating at the location at which it is applied. The composite product may be further formulated with additional constituents to be optically clear, glossy, and/or pigmented.

COATING FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
A coating for a medical device is described. The coating comprises: a surface layer; and optionally a base layer; wherein the surface layer comprises a polymer chain attached to an anti-clotting group, wherein the anti-clotting group is selected from a sulfonic acid group, a sulfonamide group, a sulfamic acid group, a hydrogen sulfate group and a conjugate base thereof. Also described is a medical device comprising the coating, and uses and methods involving the coating and the medical device.
CAMERA COVER, IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CAMERA COVER
A camera cover is provided. The camera cover has a coating formed on a surface of the camera cover. The coating contains a urethane acrylate resin. The camera cover has a dome shape and is designed to protect an image capturing unit. A Berkovich hardness at an indenter penetration depth of 100 to 300 nm on a surface of the coating is at least 0.4 GPa.
COMPOUND, POLYMER, PATTERN FORMING MATERIAL, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
A pattern forming material is configured to use for forming an organic film on a film to be processed, patterning the organic film, and then forming a composite film by infiltrating a metallic compound into the patterned organic film. The pattern forming material contains a polymer including a monomer unit represented by a general formula (3) described below,
