Chair assembly with upholstery covering
A seating arrangement includes a base, a seat assembly operably coupled to the base, and a back assembly that includes a substantially rigid back frame including a pair of side portions spaced from one another and extending upward from the base, and a substantially flexible back shell including a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface, a plurality of laterally-extending slots that extend between the front surface and the rear surface and that cooperate to define a plurality of laterally-extending ribs therebetween, where a pair of laterally-extending ribs of the plurality of laterally-extending ribs are connected to one another via a vertically-extending rib located at a substantial midpoint across a width of the back shell, and wherein the back shell is coupled to each of the side portions of the back frame at locations above the plurality of laterally-extending slots.
Ergonomic motion chair
A chair that provides movement side-to-side about a first pivot axis positioned above the seat plane allows the user a wide range of dynamic movement, but does not require constant or excessive action on the part of the user to maintain a desired position. In addition and concurrently thereto, the structure may include a second pivot that is also positioned above the seat plane and that provides forward-and-back movement of the seat. The first and second pivot axes can be engaged synchronously or independently by the user as desired delivering infinite degrees of angles of movement. Said pivot axes are more closely adjacent to the human body pivot joints and axes. The seat and seat back may be joined together to a central spine frame that moves about the second pivot, thereby maintaining the seatback position and seat position relative to each other during forward-and-back movement of the spine along the second pivot. One or more biasing structures may be provided to urge the seat into forward-and-back and side-to-side neutral positions. If desired, the location of this forward-and-back neutral position can be statically adjusted by a user, and at least one of the biasing structures can hold this forward-and-back neutral position at a desired tension level thereby allowing a user to select the amount of force required to move the seat out of this defined forward-and-back neutral position. Moreover, an adjustment structure may be provided that allows for static adjustment of the seatback's position on the spine.
COLLAPSIBLE HANGING CHAIR AND VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATOR COMPRISING SUCH HANGING CHAIR
The invention relates to a hanging chair that contains a frame (2), suspension (50) that may be secured to the frame (2) and a first canvas (70) determining a seat (72) supported by the frame (2), characterised by that the frame (2) contains three ring-shaped frame elements (10, 20, 30), of which—a first and second frame element (10, 20) are secured to each other along a first axis (125) with a first pair of fasteners (123, 124), —the second and a third frame element (20, 30) are secured to each other along a second axis (235) on a side of the second frame element (20) opposite the first axis (125) with a second pair of fasteners (233, 234), and—the first and third frame elements (10, 30) are secured to each other along a third axis (135) on a side of the first frame element (10) opposite the first axis (125) with a third pair of fasteners (133, 134), and with the frame elements (10, 20, 30) secured to each other and in suspended state, the suspension (50) is located outside of the frame (2), above the first frame element (10), while the second pair of fasteners (233, 234) securing the second and third frame elements (20, 30) to each other are located below the first frame element (10), the seat (72) of the first canvas (70) is located outside of the frame (2), outwards from the second frame element (20), and the third frame element (30) delimits a seat opening (33) permitting access to the seat (72). The invention also relates to a virtual reality simulator that contains such a hanging chair.
Chair
A chair is provided including a subframe, a seat element, a back element, a spring mechanism and an adjustment device. The spring mechanism includes a leaf spring, which is clamped on one side in the subframe, and a support, which is movable on a track between the leaf spring and the subframe. The adjustment device includes an adjustment member and a transmission mechanism. A movement of the adjustment member is translated into a movement of the support at a transmission ratio in a range of 1:0.5 and 1:4.
Sunshaded swing seat
A sunshaded swing seat includes a suspension frame including a main horizontal beam, and a pair of extension members mounted to the main horizontal beam. The pair of extension members forms four tips. Tension supports extend downwardly from the four tips, and each tension support extends downwardly from each tip. A swing seat has a rigid swing seat rim, and the swing seat has a fabric seat body attached to the swing seat rim and forming a seat hollow. A shade has a upper panel mounted over the swing seat. The shade optionally further includes a shade left side panel and a shade right side panel. The shade left side panel has a shade left arc on its lower edge.
Chair device and star-shaped base thereof
Disclosed are a chair device and a star-shaped base (3) thereof, in particular capable of being used for office chairs, work chairs, stools or standing auxiliary devices, the star-shaped base comprising a center seat (4) and a plurality of extending arms (5) mounted on the center seat (4), wherein the extending arms (5) are used for the star-shaped base (3) to be placed on the ground, and at least one of the extending arms (5) is hinged to the center seat (4) and can rotate relative to the center seat (4). A chair seat of the chair device can rotate or swing, while parts mounted at an upper end of a chair column do not need to be modified, and particularly, a supporting structure, a chair support for the chair seat to be placed, and the chair seat itself do not need to be modified.
