Spring actuated rocking mechanism for collapsible chair
A spring actuated rocking mechanism can be attached to the legs of a collapsible chair to allow for the user to rock in the collapsible chair. The mechanism may be attached at the factory or retrofitted to the chair. The rocking mechanism can be attached to the end of a leg or disposed within a leg, having a leg portion above and below the mechanism.
Seat, particularly a rocking chair
A seat, particularly a rocking chair, includes a frame, a seat surface and a backrest. The frame includes two lower frame parts extending forward from the backrest and each having a curved progression which is convex in downward direction. The seat can have with stop members arranged close to a front outer end and/or close to a rear outer end of each lower frame part. The stop members can be resiliently deformable. Additionally or alternatively the lower frame parts can each be covered on an underside thereof with a resilient and/or damping material. This resilient and/or damping material can comprise a shaped part connected to the relevant frame part. The stop members can be integrated in the shaped part. A stop member and a shaped part intended for application in such a seat.

Active sitting chair
An active sitting chair is provided that encourages a sitter/user to sit actively by requiring balance adjustments and core engagement. The active sitting chair can be efficiently produced while being relatively sturdy and lightweight. The main body may be a monocoque shell that includes a rounded lower portion that contacts the surface the chair is on and promotes wobble of the chair when a sitter is seated on the chair. The chair may also include built-in handles for ease of lifting and a seat portion at the top of the chair that may include a cushion or similar component for increasing the stability and/or comfort of a sitter.

Chair base
A chair base is revealed. A round bulge is formed on a center of a bottom surface of a bottom plate and a limit portion is gradually flattened from the round bulge toward a periphery of the bottom plate. A base body is disposed on a top surface of the bottom plate while a cover is used for covering the base body therein and enclosing the periphery of the bottom plate. Thereby the bottom plate, the base body, and the cover are connected and fixed by one another. While in use, users rock the chair by the round bulge on the bottom plate in response to their shifts in center of gravity. A rock angle of the chair is limited by the limit portion. Thereby the users will not tip the chair over while rocking the chair violently and safety in use is ensured.

STACKABLE MOLDED PLASTIC ROCKING CHAIR
A stackable rocking chair has a seat, a back, a right front leg and a left front leg attached to the seat, a right rocker and a left rocker, a right rear leg connected to the seat and the right rocker and a left rear leg connected to the seat and the left rocker, a right arm and a left arm that extend from the back and an arm support for each arm. The lower end of each arm support is attached to a rocker and the upper end of each arm support is attached to an arm. Each arm support is adjacent and substantially parallel to one of the front legs, such that there is a gap between the front leg and the arm support. One stackable rocker can be stacked on another stackable rocker by positioning the rockers of one chair within the gaps in the other chair.

Ergonomic chair made from paper substrate with embedded sensor, computer readable medium for interacting with the chair, method of making the chair or other structures from paper substrate
There is provided an ergonomic chair which is produced from flat components. The components may be made of paper. The components are designed using parametric equations which take the targeted user's proportions into account. The components are then folded, joined, and coated with strengthening material. The chair has a seat, a base, and three legs connecting the seat to the base. The base contains a counterweight mass for keeping the chair in a default upright position. The base contains an accelerometer which can transmit data to a computing device to track a user's posture and other health-related data.
