Ergonomic chair made from paper substrate with embedded sensor, computer readable medium for interacting with the chair, method of making the chair or other structures from paper substrate
There is provided an ergonomic chair which is produced from flat components. The components may be made of paper. The components are designed using parametric equations which take the targeted user's proportions into account. The components are then folded, joined, and coated with strengthening material. The chair has a seat, a base, and three legs connecting the seat to the base. The base contains a counterweight mass for keeping the chair in a default upright position. The base contains an accelerometer which can transmit data to a computing device to track a user's posture and other health-related data.
ROCKING CHAIR
A rocking chair includes a foldable main body frame and a leg rest frame, where the leg rest frame includes two side support rods, two bottom rods and two slanting rods; first end portions of the two side support rods are pivotally connected to the main body frame, when the rocking chair is unfolded, second end portions of the side support rods are located forward and below the first end portions thereof; first end portions of the two bottom rods are pivotally connected to the main body frame, and second end portions of the two bottom rods are respectively pivotally connected to the two side support rods; when the rocking chair is unfolded, the first end portions of the side support rods are located above the first end portions of the bottom rods; the two slanting rods intersect and are pivotally connected at an intersection.

Reclinable director chair
A reclinable director chair having a chair cloth, a seat frame assembly and a support frame assembly. The seat frame assembly having two cross tubes, two square seat frame armrest tubes and two backrest support tubes, wherein the cross tubes are connected and fixed between the two seat frame armrest tubes in a cross manner. One backrest support tube is disposed at the rear end of each seat frame armrest tube, and a cushion and a backrest of the chair cloth are mounted at upper ends of the cross tubes and on the backrest support tubes, respectively. The support frame assembly having two support frame components. Each support frame component comprises a bottom support tube and a connector.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A method for using an article of footwear while sitting in a chair capable of transitioning between at least first, second, and third states. The article of footwear includes an outsole. The outsole includes a medial wrap-up, a lateral wrap-up, and a heel wrap-up. The method includes positioning the article of footwear in a first footwear state while sitting in a chair first state. The method further includes positioning the article of footwear in a second footwear state while sitting in a chair second state. When in the second footwear state, the medial wrap-up deforms relative to the first footwear state. The method further includes positioning the article of footwear in a third footwear state while sitting in a chair third state. When in the third footwear state, the heel wrap-up deforms relative to the first footwear state.
Rocker/glider recliner linkage with projected back pivot point
A linkage for use in reclining furniture may include a back bracket supported by forward and rear back pivot links. The bottom of the rear back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to a rear lift link and the bottom of the forward back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to the rear lift link in a different location. A control link may be pivotably coupled on one end to one of the forward back pivot link and the rear back pivot link. The control link may pull the pivoting linkage of the back bracket and the forward and back pivot links as the overall linkage is moved from a closed to a TV to a full-recline position. The resulting pivot point for the back is projected upwardly and forwardly, to a point where an upholstered back and seat meet on a finished chair.
Desk support with stool
A stool and desk support system. The system includes a stool base and a desk support surface. A support member may connect the desk support surface to the stool base and support the desk support surface above a floor surface. The stool base may include a stool seat surface and a rocking mechanism opposite the stool seat surface. The desk support surface may be connected to a desk support base by a neck extending from the desk support base. The stool base may include an upper stool base frame and a lower stool base frame. The upper stool base frame may be height adjustable with respect to the lower stool base frame. The desk support base may connect to the upper stool base frame, permitting coinciding height adjustment of the desk support surface and the upper stool base frame.
