PROCESS FOR PRODUCING MATT COATINGS ON SHEETLIKE SUBSTRATES
The present disclosure relates to a process for producing matt coatings on sheetlike substrates. The method includes providing an uncured lacquer layer of a UV radiation-curable liquid lacquer formulation F on a surface of the substrate to be coated. The method also includes irradiating the lacquer layer with UV radiation substantially in the wavelength range of 250 to 420 nm with a radiation dose which results in partial curing of the lacquer layer. The method further includes irradiating the partially cured lacquer layer with UV radiation in the wavelength range of 150 to <250 nm under inert gas. The method further includes irradiating the partially cured lacquer layer with UV radiation substantially in the wavelength range of 250 to 420 nm or with electron radiation with a radiation dose which results in end-curing of the lacquer layer.

The reflective coating comprises 28-32 parts by weight of acrylate, 28-32 parts by weight of reactive diluent, 1-3 parts by weight of photoinitiator, 18-23 parts by weight of aluminum silver powder, 26-32 parts by weight of solvent and 1-5 parts by weight of promoter.
COATED METAL SHEET AND DRAWN-IRONED CAN
A coated metal sheet provided with a coating on at least one surface thereof. The coating contains a polyester resin as a main component and a β-hydroxyalkylamide compound as a curing agent. Since the coating has an elongation of not less than 200% under test conditions of 90° C., the coated metal sheet has excellent can-making workability without metal exposure even if the coated metal sheet is subjected to severe working such as drawing and ironing. Also disclosed is a drawn-ironed can formed of the coated metal sheet.

Waterborne, UV Curable Coating Composition For Easy-Clean Coatings
The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion of a carboxyl-functional, unsaturated polyester containing a perfluoropolyether block prepared by the following steps: a) subjecting a carboxyl-terminated perfluoropolyether C to a reaction with an ethylenically unsaturated epoxy-functional compound D in the presence of compound E, which is a carboxylic acid or anhydride with functionality of at least 2, to obtain carboxyl-functional, unsaturated polyester F, b) neutralizing carboxyl-functional, unsaturated polyester F with a neutralizer G and dispersing it in water. The dispersion can be used to prepare a waterborne, UV-curable coating composition and used for easy-clean coatings for various substrates.
