Seat, particularly a rocking chair
A seat, particularly a rocking chair, includes a frame, a seat surface and a backrest. The frame includes two lower frame parts extending forward from the backrest and each having a curved progression which is convex in downward direction. The seat can have with stop members arranged close to a front outer end and/or close to a rear outer end of each lower frame part. The stop members can be resiliently deformable. Additionally or alternatively the lower frame parts can each be covered on an underside thereof with a resilient and/or damping material. This resilient and/or damping material can comprise a shaped part connected to the relevant frame part. The stop members can be integrated in the shaped part. A stop member and a shaped part intended for application in such a seat.
Self-stopping mobile chair system
A self-stopping mobile chair system comprising: a chair including a base, a joint and a seat coupled to the base via the joint to allow a movement of the seat relative to the base between a fore position and an aft position; a locking mechanism configurable between: an engageable state in which the locking mechanism locks the seat upon the seat being in a rated position between the fore and aft positions, the seat movable toward the rated position to be locked by the locking mechanism, and a disengaged state in which the seat is movable between the fore and aft positions unhindered; and an actuator connected between the seat and the locking mechanism to configure the locking mechanism either in the disengaged state upon the seat bearing a force or in the engageable state absent the force. There is also provided a movement stopping system for a mobile chair.

Chair
In view of various movement of a seated person, when giving the left-right swinging operation to the seat in the non-conventional aspect, a chair configured such that the back can perform a new movement suitable for the left-right movement of the seat and return to the predetermined position when the seated person leaves a seat, is realized. For the purpose, a back 6 is arranged behind a seat 5, and the back 6 has an operation mechanism 6M turning-movably supporting the load received from a seated person in a left-right direction in a front view, and when the load is applied, at least a part of guide part 65a, 66a of the operation mechanism 6M is separated and the back moves freely, and when the applied load is removed, the back automatically returns to the neutral position along the guide part 65a, 66a.
ACTIVE SITTING MECHANISM
Disclosed herein is a cylindrical rocker mechanism including a top assembly having a first cavity, a middle assembly including at least one middle lug aligned with the first cavity to facilitate insertion of a first pin therethrough thereby coupling the top assembly with the middle assembly, a second cavity aligned perpendicularly to the at least one middle lug, a bottom assembly having a horizontal plate, and at least one bottom lug aligned with the second cavity to facilitate insertion of a second pin therethrough thereby coupling the top assembly with the middle assembly, wherein the top, and middle assemblies move and roll in perpendicular directions thereby facilitating a friction dependent, substantially slip-less, omnidirectional, rolling and a tilting motion of the top assembly in response to a force applied by a subject to top assembly.

Adjustment device for a chair with rocking mechanism
Adjustment device for a chair which is provided with a rocking mechanism composed of a first plate, fixed to a central gas-operated post for the height adjustment of a seat and to which a second plate is articulated, about a first axis that is transverse thereto and so that it can rock, the second plate being fixed to a seat or being integral with a seat and interacting with elements which are adapted to contrast the rocking of a backrest. A first cable is slideably associated with the first plate and is adapted to activate a lever which is articulated internally to the first plate at a different second axis and is adapted to activate the height adjustment of the seat. A second cable is further slideably associated with the first plate and is adapted to activate a mechanism which allows or prevents the rocking of the second plate.
