An object of the present invention is to provide an antifouling coating composition that can form an antifouling coating film having excellent adhesion to a base (substrate) even in a low-temperature environment, as well as excellent antifouling property. Another object of the present invention is to provide an antifouling coating film, a laminated antifouling coating film, an antifouling tape, a substrate with the antifouling coating film, and a method of producing the same formed from the antifouling coating composition, as well as an antifouling method. The antifouling coating composition of the present invention is an antifouling coating composition containing a photocurable organopolysiloxane (A), a slipping agent (B), and a photopolymerization initiator (C), the content of the photocurable organopolysiloxane (A) in the solid content of the antifouling coating composition being 50% by mass or more and 98% by mass or less.

CARRIER WITH LOCALIZED FIBROUS INSERT AND METHODS
20200378064 · 2020-12-03 ·

A structural reinforcement for an article including a carrier that includes: (i) a mass of polymeric material having an outer surface; and (is) at least one consolidated fibrous insert having an outer surface and including at least one elongated fiber arrangement having a plurality of ordered fibers arranged in a predetermined manner. The fibrous insert is envisioned to adjoin the mass of the polymeric material in a predetermined location for carrying a predetermined load that is subjected upon the predetermined location (thereby effectively providing localized reinforcement to that predetermined location). The fibrous insert and the mass of polymeric material are of compatible materials, structures or both, for allowing the fibrous insert to be at least partially joined to the mass of the polymeric material. Disposed upon at least a portion of the carrier will be a mass of activatable material.

ADHESIVE SHEET

The disclosed adhesive sheet that exhibits high anchoring performance and where separation between the substrate and the adhesive layer substantially does not occur when unwinding or re-peeling in actual applications. The adhesive sheet comprises a substrate including a heteroatom-containing polymer component at least at a portion of a surface a silicone adhesive layer that is in contact with the heteroatom-containing polymer component, wherein the heteroatom-containing polymer having, at a side chain, an N,N-substituted amino group or a heterocyclic group.

High temperature resistant colored, especially orange colored adhesive tape as well as method and carriers for the manufacture thereof and wiring harness with such an adhesive tape

An orange-colored adhesive tape (1) a cable-wrapping tape, including a colored textile substrate (4, 4a, 4b) and an adhesive layer (5, 5a, 5b) applied at least to one side of the substrate (4, 4a, 4b). The substrate (4, 4a, 4b) contains at least one red and at least one further colorant. In order to improve colored tapes of the above-mentioned type, in particular providing increased temperature stability, while maintaining advantageous usage properties, at least one of the colorants contains a disazo compound or is completely formed therefrom. A method and a substrate (4, 4a, 4b) for manufacturing the adhesive tape (1) as well as a cable harness (3) with the adhesive tape (1) are also described.

Method for Producing an Adhesive Tape

The invention relates to a method for producing an adhesive tape, by: providing a tapelike textile carrier (2),

applying a thickener (7) and separately aqueous dispersion-based adhesive (8) to the textile carrier (2), the thickener (7) and the aqueous dispersion-based adhesive (8) coming into contact with each other once applied, then drying the dispersion-based adhesive (8).

EASY TO APPLY AIR AND WATER BARRIER ARTICLES

There are provided rolls comprising an air and water barrier article having opposing first and second major surfaces, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on at least the first major surface of the article, and a liner having a first major surface that contacts the opposing second major surface of the article, wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive contacts a second major surface of the liner when wound in the roll. There are also provided self-adhering air and water barrier articles and building envelopes made using the presently disclosed rolls.

Thermally softenable adhesive tape and method for jacketing elongated items, especially leads

An adhesive tape for jacketing an elongated item, more particularly cable sets, comprises a tapelike carrier which is characterized in that the tapelike carrier is provided on at least one side with a binder which is thermally softenable at a temperature of 50 C. to 100 C. and comprises a polycaprolactone.

Thermally curable adhesive tape and method for jacketing elongated items, especially leads

An adhesive tape for jacketing elongated items may comprise a tape-like carrier provided on at least one side with a self-adhering adhesive layer which consists of a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape-like carrier may additionally be provided on at least one side with a binder that is thermally curable at a temperature of up to 110 C.
