Stitch bonded foam tape product and method
An adhesive tape product incorporating foam that is stitch-bonded with a stitching yarn to provide substantial dimensional stability in the machine direction without sacrificing the sound dampening and insulation properties of the foam. A pressure sensitive adhesive is disposed in overlying relation to at least one face of the foam. One or more fibrous layers may be positioned between the foam and the adhesive.
ADHESIVE PRIMERS AND ARTICLES INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are adhesive articles that include a silicone adhesive and a substrate, with a primer layer interposed between the silicone adhesive and the substrate. The primer layer includes a polymer having a polyorganosiloxane pendant group P represented by the formula (I) where each R.sup.1 is independently an alkyl, haloalkyl, arylalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or aryl substituted with an alkyl, alkoxy, or halo; R2 is an alkyl or an alkenyl group; R3 is an alkylene or an arylalkylene group; and n is an integer in the range of 1 to 20. The primer layer typically improves the adhesion between the silicone adhesive and a wide variety of substrates.

ADHESIVE TAPE FOR JACKETING ELONGATE ITEMS SUCH AS MORE PARTICULARLY CABLE HARNESSES AND METHODS FOR JACKETING
An adhesive tape particularly for wrapping cables comprises a textile carrier and a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied on at least one side of the carrier, where starting materials used for the textile carrier comprise fibres of recycled polyethylene terephthalate, where the fraction of the fibres is at least 50 wt % and where the fibres are staple fibres or continuous filaments or are processed to form yarns.
Epoxy based reinforcing patches having improved damping loss factor
A reinforcing sheet including one or more layers of a reinforcing material, and a thermosetting adhesive associated with the reinforcing material, wherein the thermosetting adhesive includes a curing agent, and an epoxy-modified dimerized fatty acid combined with an epoxy terminated polyurethane interpenetrating network.

SYSTEM FOR WRAPPING ELONGATED OBJECT
A support tape extends longitudinally along an elongated object, is wrapped around the object, and has a pair of opposite longitudinal edges, an inner face engaging the object, and an outer face turned outward away from the object. The support tape is of single-layer design and having a class D abrasion resistance according to LV 312-1. One closure strip of an adhesive compound extends along one of the faces at one of the edges, and another closure strip of an adhesive compound extends parallel to the edges, along the other face, and transversely offset on the other face from the one closure strip. It is adhered to the one closure strip. A fixing strip of an adhesive compound extends longitudinally on the inner face, offset thereon from the one and other closure strips, and adheres the tape to the object.
