A polysiloxane is prepared by hydrosilylation reaction of a polyorganosilicate resin and an SiH terminated polydiorganosiloxane. The polysiloxane acts as a controlled release additive when formulated into a release coating composition. The release coating composition can be coated on a surface of a substrate and cured to form a release liner.

SOLVENT-BASED COMPOSTABLE COLD SEAL RELEASE LACQUER

The present invention provides solvent-based compostable cold seal release lacquers for use in packaging structures. The lacquers of the invention comprise resins, such as polyamide resins, comprising greater than 90% biobased carbon, generally prepared from renewable sources, e.g., plants such as rice. The present invention also provides the use of the inventive compostable lacquers as cold seal release lacquers in cold seal packaging, along with eco-friendly packaging film, etc., and has the potential to make the cold seal packaging fully compostable.

COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES FOR PROVIDING RELEASE COATINGS

An aqueous composition that can be used to provide release properties to adhesive tape substrates can be applied at coating weights far less than those required in previously available compositions containing the same or similar release polymers. Inclusion of small amounts of a superwetter results in improved coatability and reduced amounts of sound generated during the process of releasing an adhesive tape from its roll.

COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES COMPRISING COMPLEXES OF 1-METHYLCYCLOPROPENE AND ALPHA-CYCLODEXTRIN

Compositions comprising complexes of 1-methylcyclopropene and α-cyclodextrin, and articles including the composition, are provided. Methods for using the compositions and articles in delaying the maturation of fruits, vegetables, and plants are also provided.

Radiation-curable silicone composition

To provide a radiation-curable silicone composition which provides a cured product whose odor is decreased, particularly is odorless, and has excellent curability and releasing properties. A radiation-curable silicone composition including the following components (A) and (B): (A) an epoxy group-containing cation-polymerizable organopolysiloxane which is represented by the following average composition formula (1): R.sup.1.sub.aR.sup.2.sub.bSiO.sub.(4-a-b)/2 (1) and (B) an iodonium salt having a cation moiety represented by the following general formula (2) in an effective amount to cure said component (A), [(R.sup.3)—I—(R.sup.3)].sup.+ (2) wherein R.sup.3 is, independently of each other, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 15 to 26 carbon atoms, wherein said component (A) may be accompanied by any other compounds volatilizing during heating at 105 degrees C. for 3 hours, a content of said compounds is at most 2.0 mass %, based on a total amount of component (A) and said compound.

Label with adhesive and silicone-free release coating

A label having a silicone-free (water-based) release coating and compatible adhesive patch is provided. The label includes a thermally coated substrate having a silicone-free substrate overlaid thereon of a first surface. A second surface includes a microsphere adhesive layer.

Electroconductive film, roll, connected structure, and process for producing connected structure

A conductive film includes an elongated release film and a plurality of conductive adhesive film pieces provided on the release film. Then, the plurality of adhesive film pieces are arranged in a longitudinal direction X of the release film. For this reason, the adhesive film piece can be set to an arbitrary shape.
