MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HALF-CUT DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE AND HALF-CUT DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE STICKING DEVICE
To provide a half-cut double-sided tape from a double-sided tape with a release-liner commercially available in the market by means of a simple process without contacting a cutter blade directly to an adhesive layer when making the half cuts in the half-cut process. The invention includes: a processing protection layer formation step of feeding a protect release paper tape having the release surface to the double-sided tape to form a processing protection layer on the double-sided tape with the release liner; a half-cut step of continuously performing half-cut together with the processing protection layer and the double-sided tape on the release liner while leaving only the release liner, and making a number of the double-sided tape pieces of proper length are held on the release liner; a half-cut double-sided tape winding step of winding the half-cut double-sided tape with the release liner while peeling off the processing protection layer. A cut trace has a fully cut region in the width direction of the double-sided tape on the release liner and a non-cut region in the width direction of the protect release paper tape, so that the peeling is facilitated.
Curable and cured adhesive compositions
Curable adhesive compositions are provided that can be cured using ultraviolet or visible light radiation. These curable adhesive compositions, which contain a curable (meth)acrylate copolymer, have a creep compliance that is less than 5(10.sup.−4) inverse Pascals at 25° C., a creep compliance that is greater than 1(10.sup.−3) inverse Pascals at 70° C., and a shear storage modulus greater than 40 kiloPascals when measured at 25° C. at a frequency of 1 radian/second.
Peel-away adhesive tape
Peel-away tape includes a double-sided adhesive tape with a perforated design and a peel-away backing that includes liftable tabs to assist in the removal thereof. In an exemplary embodiment, the tape and peel-away backing is perforated on equidistant intervals. A small tab located at the center of each perforation extends over the perforation line which, when separated, extends outward where it can be grasped.
THREADLIKE ADHESIVE STICKING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STICKING THREADLIKE ADHESIVE
A threadlike adhesive sticking apparatus of the present invention is a threadlike adhesive sticking apparatus configured to press a threadlike adhesive wound in a roll shape together with a release liner against an object while feeding out the threadlike adhesive, and includes a pressing unit configured to press the threadlike adhesive debonded from the release liner against the object. A compression elastic modulus of the release liner is 1.5 MPa or less.
MICRO-GROOVE DRAG REDUCTION FLEXIBLE FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The disclosure provides a micro-groove drag reduction flexible film and a preparation method thereof. The micro-groove film has a triangular groove structure on the upper surface along the direction of an air flow, and an adhesive layer on the lower surface for quick adhesion to an aircraft surface. After the surface of the aircraft is covered with a micro-groove film, it could limit the spanwise movement of the bottom air at the boundary layer of the aircraft surface, improve the flow field characteristics of the aircraft near the wall, and effectively reduce the frictional resistance of the wall. The micro-groove flexible film is prepared by a roller hot pressing method. The triangular groove structure is processed on the surface of the mold roller of the double roller hot press. After pretreatment of the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) polymer film, a micro-groove structure is hot-pressed on the surface of the TPU film.
SELF-ADHERING ROOFING MEMBRANE COMPOSITES
A composite membrane comprising (i) a polymeric membrane panel, said panel having first and second planar surfaces; (ii) a cross-linked adhesive layer disposed on said first planar surface of said polymeric membrane panel, said cross-linked adhesive layer having first and second planar surfaces, where said first planar surface of said cross-linked adhesive layer is in contact with said first planar surface of said polymeric membrane panel; and (iii) an optional release member disposed on said second planar surface of said cross-linked adhesive layer, where said polymeric membrane panel includes a functionalized polymer at said second planar surface.
BIODEGRADABLE DISPLAY PROTECTOR
A biodegradable display protector comprises a top layer; an antimicrobial (AF) layer beneath the top layer; a core layer formed of biodegradable material beneath the AF layer; an adhesive layer beneath the core layer; and a bottom release layer beneath the adhesive layer. The bottom release layer may be peeled off to allow the screen protector to be adhered to a display screen. In the embodiments, biodegradable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) may be used for an inflexible protector whereas biodegradable thermoplastic urethane (TPU) may be used for a flexible protector. A thickness of the screen protector may be between about 0.08 mm to about 0.23 mm.
ADHESIVE SHEET LAMINATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention relates to an adhesive sheet laminate which comprises a substrate layer composed of a thermoplastic resin composition (A) containing a polypropylene-based resin as a main component, an adhesive layer composed of a thermoplastic resin composition (B) containing a specific thermoplastic resin (b) as a main component and having a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 30 g/10 min, and a release layer composed of a thermoplastic resin composition (C) containing a specific thermoplastic resin (c) as a main component and having a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 30 g/10 min, and which has a tensile elastic modulus of 2000 MPa or more.
Biodegradable cellulose fiber-based substrate, its manufacturing process, and use in an adhesive tape
