The release layer comprises a thermoplastic polymer and a block copolymer additive having the general structure: A[LB]n wherein A is a polyorganosiloxane block, L is a covalent bond or a divalent linking group B is independently a C16-C70 alkyl group, and n is at least 1. In other embodiments, compositions are described comprising a thermoplastic polymer the described block copolymer additive; as well as methods of making a release composition.
Air and water barrier articles
There are provided rolls comprising an air and water barrier article having opposing first and second major surfaces, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on at least the first major surface of the article, and a liner having a first major surface that contacts the opposing second major surface of the article, and at least two adhesion modifying zones disposed between the second major surface of the article and the first major surface of the liner, wherein both of a first and second adhesion modifying zones contact the first major surface of the liner, and wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive contacts a second major surface of the liner when wound in the roll. There are also provided films made using these air and water barrier articles and building envelopes made using such films.
STICKY ADHESIVE MESH AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STICKY ADHESIVE MESH
The present invention relates to an adhesive sheet made of a fiber material, and a method for manufacturing same, the sticky adhesive mesh comprising mesh fabric, an ink layer printed on the upper surface of the mesh fabric, a first adhesive layer coated on the lower surface of the mesh fabric, an absorption layer stacked on the lower surface of the first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer coated on the lower surface of the absorption layer, and release paper stacked on the lower surface of the second adhesive layer, wherein the mesh fabric is made of fabric woven by crossing wefts and warps and is formed to be porous by having gaps between the wefts and the warps, the first adhesive layer is formed to have a plurality of adhesive layers that are repeatedly coated to be stacked.
PROCESS FOR COATING VEGETABLE-TANNED LEATHERS
A process for coating vegetable-tanned leathers is provided. The process includes depositing a coating layer composed of an aqueous dispersion of polyurethane resin on a support having anti-adhesion properties, curing the coating layer on the support, depositing an adhesive layer composed of an aqueous dispersion of polyurethane resin onto the cured coating layer, applying a leather piece onto the adhesive layer, the leather piece being a vegetable-tanned leather piece, in a continuous oven curing the adhesive layer to attach the leather piece to the coating layer, and removing the coated leather piece from the support. Within the continuous oven the leather piece reaches a maximum temperature comprised between 65° C. and 75° C., with a dwell time in the oven comprised between 180 and 210 seconds.
ELECTRICALLY DEBONDABLE ADHESIVE SHEET AND JOINED BODY
The present invention relates to an electrically debondable adhesive sheet including, in this order, an electrically conductive substrate including a supporting substrate and an electrically conductive layer; a coating layer; and an electrically debondable adhesive layer in which an adhesive force is reduced by application of a voltage, in which the coating layer is formed on a surface of the electrically conductive layer on a side opposite to the supporting substrate, and the electrically debondable adhesive layer and the coating layer are in contact with each other.
FABRIC WALLPAPER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Proposed is a method of manufacturing a fabric wallpaper, while a bonding force of an adhesive agent attached to one side of fabric wallpaper is enhanced, and flame retarding is given to a wrap and a weft for weaving fabric at the same time. Accordingly, safety is guaranteed against the fire without additional anti-flaming treatment. Also when constructing the fabric wallpaper, general unskilled consumers may easily and conveniently perform construction. Fabric is woven by a warp and a weft of synthetic fibrous yarn in which a flame retardant resin layer is formed on the outer surface of the core. One side of the fabric is heated and pressed to form a smooth surface in which part of the resin layer is melted and extended. An adhesive agent is attached to the smooth surface, and release paper is attached to the outer surface of the adhesive agent.
ANTIMICROBIAL METALLIZED THIN FILMS FOR REFURBISHING COMMUNAL CONTACT SURFACES
An antimicrobial metallized thin film is provided that can be quickly and easily attached to surfaces of objects. This film includes a polymer substrate onto which a metallized layer is formed. The metallized layer comprises an exposed antimicrobial metal physical contact surface. Ions from this physical contact surface destroy the viral coating and ribonucleic acid of contacting viruses rendering the viruses inactive and noninfectious. The film can be attached via an adhesive layer disposed between and in contact with the polymer substrate and the communal surface. This arrangement allows the film to economically refurbish communal surfaces with a film overlay rather than completely replacing communal surfaces with antimicrobial materials. The film mitigates the likelihood of viruses such as coronaviruses, noroviruses, rhinoviruses, and the like from spreading due to contact with the refurbished communal surfaces.
Adhesion method, adhesion-structure, and adhesion kit
An adhesion method including: a step (1), disposing a stickable-curable adhesive layer on a first adherend; a step (2), disposing a curing agent layer on a second adherend, the curing agent layer being able to cure the stickable-curable adhesive layer by contacting and reacting with the stickable-curable adhesive layer; and a step (3), bringing the stickable-curable adhesive layer into contact with the curing agent layer so that they are sandwiched by the first adherend and the second adherend.

Disclosed herein are feminine hygiene articles and multilayer film structures. According to one or more embodiments disclosed herein, a feminine hygiene article may include a feminine hygiene pad including an absorbent body, an adhesive layer positioned on at least a surface of the absorbent body, and a pouch wrap in contact with the adhesive layer of the feminine hygiene pad. The pouch wrap may include a release layer in direct contact with the adhesive layer. The release layer may include a polymer composition including low density polyethylene covalently bonded to polydimethylsiloxane.
Self-Adhesive Stickers Customizing Device
The present invention relates to a customizing device that provides pressure-sensitive stickers or labels for releasably placing on virtually any type of surface to customize and alter the look of the surface. The device features two independent self-adhesive stickers on the front and back of peel-away wax paper, enabling users to apply one or both stickers on one or more desired surfaces. The self-adhesive stickers have reflective customized designs that can glow in black light and an adhesive layer for releasably adhering to a surface. For use, the adhesive stickers are peeled away from wax paper and releasably applied on a surface. The labels offer a method to advertise for a specific product or a method to customize and personalize an item with ease.
