RELEASE FILM
A release film may exhibit excellent releasability against silicone adhesives and yet reduce the content of fluorine atoms. The release film has a first layer formed from a silicone composition containing a fluorine atom-free curable silicone as a main component on at least one side of a film-shaped substrate, and a second layer containing a component having a fluorine-substituted group on the upper side of the first layer, wherein the first layer has an elastic modulus (F1), as measured using a nanoindenter, of 0.16 GPa or more.
MULTILAYERED TAPE WITH REMOVABLE CARRIER LAYER
A multilayer tape is provided. A method of masking a surface is also provided. The multilayer tape includes an inner layer, at least one middle layer, and an outer carrier layer. The inner layer has a pair of parallel adhesive strips demarking an inner gap having a predetermined width. The middle layer is adhered to the inner layer and has a pair of parallel adhesive strips demarking a middle gap narrower than the inner gap. The outer carrier layer is adhered to the middle layer. The method includes applying a multilayer tape system to a surface and removing the outer carrier layer to expose a preselected gap width. The multilayer tape system includes an inner layer, at least one middle layer, and an outer carrier layer.
CURABLE COMPOSITIONS FOR PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVES
Curable compositions, cured compositions, articles containing the curable or cured compositions, and methods of making the articles are provided. More particularly, the curable compositions contain a (meth)acrylate-based polymer having pendant (meth)acryloyl groups, at least one monomer having a single ethylenically unsaturated group, a photoinitiator that includes an acyl phosphine oxide, and a thixotropic agent. The curable compositions can be printed or dispensed, if desired, and the cured compositions are pressure-sensitive adhesives.
ADHESIVE TAPE
An adhesive tape includes a substrate [I] and an adhesive agent layer of a polyester adhesive agent provided on at least one of opposite surfaces of the substrate [I]. The substrate [I] is one selected from a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, and an acrylic resin foam substrate. The polyester adhesive agent is made from a polyester adhesive agent composition [II] which contains a polyester resin (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 300,000, and having a structural unit derived from a polyol and a structural unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound containing an aromatic structure-containing compound in a proportion of not greater than 80 mol %. The adhesive tape is excellent in adherence between a polyester adhesive agent layer and a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, or an acrylic resin foam substrate.
Surface Concealment System
A multi-layered surface indentation concealment system having a body including a medial portion and a flexible peripheral margin extending outward of said medial portion. The body can be disposed to conceal a surface indentation in a surface, whereby the medial portion spans the surface indentation and the flexible peripheral margin secures about the surface indentation by application of a coat composition to the flexible peripheral margin.
LABEL STICKER
A label sticker includes a release layer strip, an attachment layer strip and a label layer strip. The attachment layer strip is made of an artificial dressing material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a first glue layer. The lower surface of the attachment layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the release layer strip through the first glue layer. The label layer strip is made of a waterproof material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a second glue layer. The lower surface of the label layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the attachment layer strip through the second glue layer. The label sticker, to be adhered to the human skin to serve identification purposes, can be manufactured by mass production but is unlikely to be wetted and smeared.
DISPOSABLE BEVERAGE LID AND DISPOSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A disposable beverage lid for use in combination with a disposable beverage container. The disposable beverage lid including a flexible membrane having a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The disposable beverage lid including a first flexible release liner having a top side coated with a release agent and a bottom side coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The top side of the first flexible release liner detachably connected to the bottom side of the flexible membrane. The disposable beverage lid including a second flexible release liner having a top side coated with a release agent and a bottom side. The top side of the second flexible release liner detachably connected to the bottom side of the first flexible release liner.
Adhesive sheet
An adhesive sheet comprising a hot-melt adhesive layer. The hot-melt type adhesive layer comprises a modified polymer (A) to which a cross-linkable group is bonded and a polyolefin (B). The adhesive sheet can adhere to various adherends and the adhesive becomes less likely to squeeze out from an adherend in thermal fusion bonding and sealing of the adherend. In a laminate comprising the adhesive sheet the adhesive layer does not squeeze out from the adherend without being affected by the material of the adherend.
ANTI-STICKING ADHESIVE TAPE FOR MOLDING OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
Disclosed are an anti-sticking adhesive tape for molding of a composite material and a manufacturing method therefor and the use thereof, the anti-sticking adhesive tape including the following sequentially laminated structures: a first layer being a fluorine-containing resin layer, a second layer being a first adhesive layer, a third layer being a reinforcing material layer, and a fourth layer being a second adhesive layer, wherein the bonding force between the first layer and a resin for molding of a composite material is smaller than the 180-degree peeling adhesion force of the fourth layer, and the intermolecular cohesive force of the first adhesive layer and the intermolecular cohesive force of the second adhesive layer are both larger than the 180-degree peeling adhesion force of the fourth layer. The anti-sticking adhesive tape can easily be separated from the resin for molding of a composite material when opening the mold.
REUSEABLE WRAPPING ORNAMENT
A decorative ornament for use on wrapping paper or the like includes an ornamental element, such as a ribbon flower or bow. The ornament for includes an attachment element for securing the ornament to wrapping paper. The attachment element includes a stack of adhesive pads. By peeling away the pads one at a time to selectively expose the next underlying adhesive pad, the decorative ornament can be used multiple times.
