Provided is an adhesive sheet including a substrate sheet and a soluble adhesive layer with an island or stripe pattern disposed on at least one surface of the substrate sheet, wherein each adhesive region has a circumscribed circle diameter of 0.1 mm to 10 mm for the island pattern, or has a stripe width of 0.1 mm to 10 mm for the stripe pattern. This adhesive sheet can retain an adhesive force of the adhesive layer until just before releasing and can be readily released from the adherend at any time without applying of excessive stress to the adherend.

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of labeling a plurality of products includes coating a pressure sensitive adhesive to a roll of face stock, the roll of face stock configured to be converted to a plurality of individual labels aligned in a single lane; singulating an individual label from the roll of face stock; and applying the individual label to a product of the plurality of products, wherein the coating, singulating and applying are conducted sequentially in a single continuous operation with a single continuous web of material.

Tape for mitigating passive intermodulation, the tape including: a metalized polymer substrate; an adhesive layer bonded to a first face of the substrate; and, a plurality of apertures extending through the substrate and the adhesive layer, such that when the tape is adhered to a surface using the adhesive layer, the apertures allow fluid communication between the surface and a second face of the substrate opposing the first face.

A stress tearable tape includes an elongated film and a hand tearing arrangement. The film has a non-adhesive surface and an opposed adhesive surface, and defines a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The hand tearing arrangement includes a plurality of pinholes formed along the longitudinal direction of the film. With the combination application of internal force, shear tension, compression tension, pinhole arrangement, and material's biaxial structure, and users' habit together, each of the pinholes enables the film being torn by hand with a force starting at one of the pinholes, such that the film is hand tearable at any section in the transverse direction thereof.

In one embodiment, a selectively-releasable adhesive includes a base adhesive compound and a releasing compound that is blended with the base adhesive compound, the releasing compound being capable of decreasing the adhesive strength of the base adhesive compound when a releasing agent is applied to the selectively-releasable adhesive.

A polymeric tape comprises a facestock extending lengthwise, the facestock including a polymer. An adhesive layer is on a first surface of the facestock. Tear-cuts are formed into at least one longitudinal edge of the facestock and extending inwardly, the tear-cuts being provided all along the at least one longitudinal edge of the facestock.
