A pressure sensitive adhesive particle includes a pressure sensitive adhesive base particle that contains a styrene resin containing styrene and a vinyl monomer other than styrene as polymerization components, and a (meth)acrylate resin containing at least two (meth)acrylates as polymerization components, in which a mass ratio of the (meth)acrylates relative to a total of polymerization components of the (meth)acrylate resin is 90 mass % or more; and an external additive. The pressure sensitive adhesive particle has a surface having an arithmetic average roughness Ra within a range of 0.005 m to 0.100 m. The pressure sensitive adhesive particle has at least two glass transition temperatures, and the difference between the lowest glass transition temperature and the highest glass transition temperature among the glass transition temperatures of the pressure sensitive adhesive particle is 30 C. or more.

Various sheeted articles are described. The articles include one or more banding products such as wristbands or ankle bands. The banding products are securely retained within the sheet articles prior to use by one or more regions of adhesive. Upon removal of the banding products from the sheet, one end of the band (an attachment end) comprises an adhesive to allow attachment to the other end, and the second end including the strap portion is generally free of any adhesive or liner material and the under surface of the second end is substantially formed by the material of the face layer. The articles can also include a collection of removable adhesive backed labels.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive layers with surface-enriched stripes and methods of making

Herein are disclosed a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a substrate, the adhesive layer containing stripes of first and second pressure-sensitive adhesives. The surface of the adhesive layer that faces the substrate is surface-enriched with the first pressure-sensitive adhesive. Methods of making are disclosed.

Method of manufacturing encapsulation film and organic light emitting display device using photo- or thermal-curable adhesive

Disclosed is an organic light emitting display apparatus. An outer portion of an adhesive layer is set higher in degree of cure than a center portion of the adhesive layer, and thus, a driving defect is prevented from occurring because the adhesive layer stretches in a manufacturing process, and various defects are prevented from being caused by a jig, thereby enhancing reliability and productivity of the organic light emitting display apparatus.

Media channel identification with multi-match detection and disambiguation based on time of broadcast
10419814 · 2019-09-17 · ·

Disclosed herein are methods and systems to help disambiguate channel identification in a scenario where fingerprint data of media content being rendered by a media presentation device matches multiple reference fingerprints corresponding respectively with multiple different channels. Upon detecting such a multi-match, a server or other entity will perform disambiguation based at least in part on a comparison of time of broadcast of the media content being rendered by the media presentation device with time of broadcast of the media content represented by the reference fingerprints. The server or other entity will thereby determine the channel on which the media content being rendered by the media presentation device is arriving, so as to facilitate taking channel-specific action.

Media channel identification with multi-match detection and disambiguation based on location

Disclosed are methods and systems involving location-based disambiguation of media channel identification, in a scenario where a fingerprint of media content being rendered by a media presentation device matches multiple reference fingerprints corresponding respectively with multiple different media channels. Upon detecting such a multi-match situation, a server or other entity will use a location of the media presentation device as a basis to disambiguate between the matching reference fingerprints and thus to determine the channel on which the media content being rendered by the media presentation device is arriving.

Methods produce a folded connection, sealed by means of an adhesive composition and by means of first and second sheetlike elements, wherein a flange of the first sheetlike element, having a first surface (11) and a second surface (12), is taken back over a flange of the second sheetlike element. The methods apply at least one layer of an adhesive composition to the flange of the first sheetlike element, bead the flange of the first sheetlike element around the flange of the second sheetlike element, and apply the adhesive composition to both the first and second surfaces of the flange of the first sheetlike element.
