The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention includes a gas-generating layer configured to generate a gas by being irradiated with laser light, wherein a modulus of elasticity Er(gas) [unit: MPa] of the gas-generating layer measured by a nanoindentation method and a thickness h(gas) [unit: μm] thereof satisfy the following expression (1):
Log(Er(gas)×10.sup.6)≥8.01×h(gas).sup.−0.116 (1).
In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has a transmittance of from 0% to 35% for light having a wavelength of 360 nm. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has a transmittance of from 10% to 100% for light having a wavelength of 380 nm.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
An adhesive tape with high high-load holding power, initial adhesive strength, and repeelability is provided. An adhesive layer of the adhesive tape contains filler particles and a triblock copolymer with a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1):
##STR00001##
A, B, and C independently denote a repeating unit. A and C independently denote an alkyl methacrylate monomer unit and B denotes an alkyl acrylate monomer unit. p, q, and r independently denote the degree of polymerization of their monomer units respectively. A and C may be the same or may denote an alkyl methacrylate monomer unit with a different chemical structure, and * denotes a bonding arm to another atom. A relationship D50/T between an average particle size D50 of the filler particles and an average thickness T of the adhesive layer ranges from 0.05 to 1.0.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
An adhesive tape has adhesive strength with high high-load holding power, temporal repeelability, and storage stability. The adhesive tape includes a substrate layer and an adhesive layer. The substrate layer has a breaking stress in a range of 1 to 100 MPa and an elongation at break in a range of 300% to 3000%. The adhesive layer contains a tackifier resin and a triblock copolymer with a repeating unit represented by the general formula (1):
##STR00001##
A, B, and C independently denote a repeating unit. A and C independently denote an alkyl methacrylate monomer unit and B denotes an alkyl acrylate monomer unit. p, q, and r independently denote the degree of polymerization of their respective monomer units. A and C may be the same or may denote an alkyl methacrylate monomer unit with a different chemical structure. * denotes a bonding arm to another atom.
DOUBLE PASS PROCESS OF MAKING A SELF ADHERING ROOFING MEMBRANE WITH IMPROVED ADHESION AT LOWER INSTALLATION TEMPERATURE
A self-adhering roofing membrane may include a polymeric membrane. The roofing membrane may include a first adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the polymeric membrane. The first adhesive layer may include one or both of a hot melt adhesive and a butyl rubber-based adhesive. The roofing membrane may include a UV curable adhesive layer disposed on the first adhesive layer. The UV curable adhesive layer may have a thickness of less than about 4 mils.
Sealing tape with a functional layer
A sealing device has a waterproofing layer, a functional layer, and an adhesive layer coated on and at least partially covering the first major surface of the waterproofing layer opposite the side of the functional layer. Also, a method produces a sealing device, a method waterproofs a substrate, and the use of the sealing device seals lapped joints formed between overlapping portions of waterproofing membranes and patches breaches in waterproofing membranes.
SEALING TAPE BONDING WEAKLY OR NOT AT ALL ON ONE SIDE
The invention relates to a sealing element with high sealing effect against air and moisture, which is easy to apply, and which moreover offers the possibility to reopen the sealed gap in an uncomplicated manner. Said solution is provided by an adhesive tape with differing adhesive power on the two main sides, which comprises a) a polymer foam layer and b) an outer adhesive compound layer and/or an outer thermoplastic film on one side of the polymer foam layer and is characterized in that, where the adhesive tape comprises an outer adhesive compound layer, the tape has a greater adhesive power on the side provided with the outer adhesive compound layer than on the opposing side and/or, where the adhesive tape comprises an outer thermoplastic film, the tape has a lower adhesive power on the side provided with the outer thermoplastic film than on the opposing side. The invention furthermore relates to the use of an adhesive tape according to the invention for sealing a joint between two components.
COMPRESSIBLE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE FILM BASED ON A LATENT REACTIVE COMPOSITION
A pressure-sensitive structural adhesive film based on an epoxy resin composition, wherein the epoxy resin composition comprises a latent-reactive, thermally activatable curing agent for producing a structural bond after thermal curing and additionally a curing agent that cross-links at room temperature, wherein the not-cured adhesive film is compressible and therefore allows for tolerance compensation.
ADHESIVE SHEET, DEVICE LAMINATE, AND METHOD FOR PEELING ADHESIVE SHEET
An adhesive sheet includes an adhesive layer including a surface provided with a fine structure. The fine structure includes a plurality of convex structures. Each of the convex structures includes two or more parts joined to each other via an interface. The two or more parts include a first part present at a top of the convex structure and made from an adhesive material, and a second part present in a lower side of the first part. The second part is harder than the first part. The adhesive sheet provides a gap between adjacent ones of convex structures of the adhesive sheet after the convex structures are applied to a subject.
