ADHESIVE TAPE HAVING WAVELENGTH CONVERSION FUNCTION
There is provided a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a predetermined wavelength conversion function and having excellent durability. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape according to the present invention includes: a base material; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a wavelength conversion function. The base material has a water vapor transmission rate of 1 g/(m.sup.2.Math.day) or less. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains a rubber-based polymer selected from a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, an isobutylene-based polymer, and a combination thereof. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains at least two wavelength conversion materials including a first wavelength conversion material and a second wavelength conversion material, and the first wavelength conversion material has a center emission wavelength in a wavelength band ranging from 515 nm to 550 nm, and the second wavelength conversion material has a center emission wavelength in a wavelength band ranging from 605 nm to 650 nm.
Solid Insulation Material
Various embodiments may include a solid insulation material, e.g. in tape form, the use thereof in a vacuum impregnation process, and/or an insulation system produced therewith and also an electrical machine having the insulation system, for the medium- and high-voltage sector. Some examples include rotating electrical machines in the medium- and high-voltage sector and also semifinished products for electrical switchgear. The solid insulation material and the insulation system produced therewith are characterized in that it can be produced in an anhydride-free manner, wherein the curing catalyst is, for example, an adduct of a 1H-imidazole and/or 1H-imidazole derivative with a compound containing oxirane groups.
THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPRISING ANISOTROPIC BORON NITRIDE AGGLOMERATES
The present disclosure relates to a thermally conductive pressure sensitive adhesive composition, comprising: a) an acrylic polymer component; and b) a boron nitride mixture composition comprising: i. anisotropic boron nitride agglomerates comprising hexagonal boron nitride primary particles, wherein the hexagonal boron nitride primary particles have an average primary particle size d.sub.50 comprised between 1 and 50 micrometer, wherein the anisotropic boron nitride agglomerates have an average agglomerate size d.sub.50 comprised between 50 and 250 micrometer and an aspect ratio greater than 1.5, and wherein the envelope density of the anisotropic boron nitride agglomerates is greater than 1 g/cm3?, when measured according to the test method described in the experimental section; and ii. (optionally), free hexagonal boron nitride primary particles having an average primary particle size d50 comprised between 3 and 50 micrometer; and wherein the content of the boron nitride mixture composition is greater than 15 vol %, based on the volume of the thermally conductive pressure sensitive adhesive composition. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such thermally conductive pressure sensitive adhesives and uses thereof.
Thermal Bonding Sheet and Thermal Bonding Sheet with Dicing Tape
Provided is a thermal bonding sheet capable of preventing bonding irregularity by uniform thickness, and imparting the bonding reliability at high temperatures, and a thermal bonding sheet with dicing tape having the thermal bonding sheet. A thermal bonding sheet includes a precursor layer that is to become a sintered layer by heating, and the precursor layer has an average thickness of 5 m to 200 m, and a maximum thickness and a minimum thickness falling within a range of 20% of the average thickness. A thermal bonding sheet includes a precursor layer that is to become a sintered layer by heating, and the precursor layer has an average thickness of 5 m to 200 m, and a surface roughness Sa measured in a field of view of 200 m200 m by a confocal microscope of 2 m or less.
TANGENTIAL JOINING METHOD
The invention relates to a joining method wherein a first surface (2) of a first adherend (1) and a second surface (8) of a second adherend (6) are bonded to one another by provision of an adhesive tape (3) having a first side (4) and a second side (7), there being disposed on the first side (4) a first activatable adhesive and on the second side (7) a second activatable adhesive, the latter being an activatable pressure-sensitive adhesive, the first side (4) of the adhesive tape (3) is contacted with the first surface (2) of the first adherend (1) to produce a preliminary assembly, the second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) is joined in a joining movement to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), the joining movement having a tangential component and a perpendicular component relative to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), with a ratio between tangential and perpendicular components of greater than 0.5, where a region of contact between second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) and second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3) is provided with a nonaqueous lubricant.

HIGH MODULUS, TOUGHENED ONE-COMPONENT EPOXY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES WITH HIGH ASPECT RATIO FILLERS
One-component toughened epoxy structural adhesives contain fibrous mineral fillers that have an aspect ratio of ?6. The presence of the fibrous filler leads to a significant increase in elastic modulus while having little if any adverse effect on other properties such as dynamic impact peel resistance.
Solid Insulation Material
The present disclosure relates to insulation. Teachings thereof may be embodied in a solid insulation material, especially in tape form, the use thereof in a vacuum impregnation process and to an insulation system produced therewith, and also an electrical machine comprising the insulation system, especially for the medium- and high-voltage sector, namely for medium- and high-voltage machines, especially rotating electrical machines in the medium- and high-voltage sector, and to semifinished products for electrical switchgear. For example a solid insulation material with an anhydride-free impregnating agent may include: a carrier; a barrier material; a curing catalyst; and a tape adhesive. The curing catalyst and the tape adhesive are inert toward one another but react under the conditions of a vacuum impregnation process if combined with an anhydride-free impregnating agent having gelation times of 1 h to 15 h at impregnation temperature. The tape adhesive is free of oxirane groups and includes at least two free hydroxyl groups.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR BATTERIES AND LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
[Problems] Objects include providing a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for batteries that is excellent in the insulation properties even after heated to high temperatures and also excellent in the insulation properties even when immersed in an electrolyte solution for a long time and then heated to high temperatures and also providing a lithium-ion battery in which the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for batteries is used.
[Solution] A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for batteries (1), comprising: a base material (11); a hard coat layer (12) provided at one side of the base material (11); and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer (13) provided at a side of the hard coat layer (13) opposite to the base material (11), the hard coat layer (12) being formed of a composition for hard coat layer that contains a metal oxide sol, the metal oxide sol being a sol of a metal oxide that has insulation properties.
