Adhesive tape

An adhesive tape includes a substrate [I] and an adhesive agent layer of a polyester adhesive agent provided on at least one of opposite surfaces of the substrate [I]. The substrate [I] is one selected from a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, and an acrylic resin foam substrate. The polyester adhesive agent is made from a polyester adhesive agent composition [II] which contains a polyester resin (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 300,000, and having a structural unit derived from a polyol and a structural unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound containing an aromatic structure-containing compound in a proportion of not greater than 80 mol %. The adhesive tape is excellent in adherence between a polyester adhesive agent layer and a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, or an acrylic resin foam substrate.

Packaging material

The present invention aims to provide a packaging material having excellent printed image quality as well as excellent laminate strength and heat sealability. Provided is a packaging material including at least: a base film, a primer layer, a printed layer, an adhesive layer, and a sealant film in a stated order, the primer layer being formed of a primer composition containing a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt, a chlorinated polyolefin emulsion, and at least one selected from the group consisting of an acrylic emulsion, a vinyl acetate emulsion, and a urethane-modified polyester resin, the printed layer being formed of a printing ink containing a polyester polyurethane resin, the adhesive layer being formed of an aliphatic ester adhesive.

A soft toy repair device is provided as a non-toxic and pet safe recyclable patch operative to secure tears in an outermost surface layer of soft or plush toys, and pet toys in particular, via adhesion. Such patch comprises an at least partially translucent, flexible tape having backing layer and an adhesive layer, the backing layer having a top side and a bottom side, the adhesive layer applied to the bottom side of the backing layer. A soft toy repair system further comprises a release liner operative to preserve the adhesive layer, which may be a pet-safe, non-toxic and pressure sensitive rubber adhesive, until use. As configured, the patch is operative to remain in place even when subjected to pet play and rough handling.
