TRACTION ENHANCING COMPOSITION
An Traction enhancing solution that increases traction on all types of footwear on both dry surfaces and wet surfaces. Within a solution suitable for application to the surface of any footwear sole in liquid form, by pouring the solution into the bag supplied, and then placing the footwear into the solution for up to 12 hours. During this time, a nano-technology coating is bonded to the footwear sole that increases the traction properties of all footwear-on both dry and wet surfaces. When pressure is applied to the treated footwearincreased traction is achieved on all surfaces. Once applied to the footwear, the coating causes the surface of the footwear sole to repel debris. This imparts continued tackiness over extended use, from 1 month to up to 3 months depending on amount of use and friction the footwear sole experiences.
Product for and method of protecting and increasing friction of animal paws
An adhesive and solid particulates adhered to the pads of an animal's paw, the adhesive being cured, thereby increasing the friction of the surface of the pads; and a method of increasing the friction of an animal's paw by applying to clean, dry pads of the animal's paw a layer of uncured adhesive, and while the adhesive layer is uncured, contacting the paw with particulates to adhere the particulates to the pad, then curing the adhesive.
Anti-skid compositions and methods of making and using the same
Described herein are anti-skid compositions that exhibit good mechanical strength, water resistance, and minimal product transfer. In certain aspects, the anti-skid compositions can be applied to articles using an aerosol delivery system. The anti-skid compositions can be applied to any article such as, for example, a rug, floor mat, chair mat, runner, and the like. The anti-skid compositions are particularly effective in preventing sliding or skidding of area rugs on or across substrates such as, for example, hard floors.
Polyurethane polymer having a hardness of less than or equal to 60 Shore A
The present invention relates to a novel thermoplastically processible polyurethane polymer having a hardness of 60 Shore A, to compositions containing this polyurethane polymer, to the uses thereof and to articles containing this polyurethane polymer.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING PORCELAIN STONEWARE TILES WITH ANTI-SLIP SURFACE
A method for obtaining a porcelain stoneware tile with anti-slip surface includes an enameling step, said step comprising the depositionon the walkable surface of the tileof a mixture of micro-grits added to a usual enamel, most of said micro-grits having dimensions smaller than 60 m and being in a percentage smaller than 25% and preferably smaller than 20% by dry weight of the mixture, the remainder consisting of enamel. Furthermore, a tile with walkable surface layer may be obtained according to the aforementioned method.
METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR ANTI-SLIPPING, AND METHOD OF MAKING THEREOF
A method for formulating a liquid loading and coating composition for anti-slipping that contains the step of coating a superheated granular absorbent material with a coating agent to produce a coated absorbent material and mixing the coated absorbent material with an absorbable agent, wherein the coated absorbent material absorbs the absorbable agent to form the liquid loading and coating composition. Liquid loading and coating compositions that can absorb liquids in many applications, including fire retardant, are also disclosed.
FRICTION MATERIAL
A friction material having 40 mass % or more to 80 mass % or less of a matrix of at least one of a metal, an alloy, a metal compound and an intermetallic compound; 5 mass % or more to 30 mass % or less of solid particles of at least one of a carbide, a nitride, an oxide and a sulfide; and 5 mass % or more to 40 mass % or less of a lubricant wherein: the matrix comprises, as elements, at least, 20 mass % or more to 50 mass % or less of Fe, 0.05 mass % or more to 5.0 mass % or less of P, and 40 mass % or more to 75 mass % or less of Ni, based on a total amount of the matrix; and a content of Cu as an element is 15 mass % or less based on a total amount of the matrix.
GRIP ENHANCING COMPOSITION
A composition/formula for enhancing the grip of certain athletes and professionals to hold or otherwise stick onto an object like a piece of sports equipment, a tool handle or an exercise mat. The composition consists of: a magnesium carbonate base to which are added a natural gum rosin, isopropyl alcohol, hydroxyl ethyl cellulose (a plant-based thickener) and a carrier oil, preferably jojoba oil. A limited amount of candelilla wax may be blended therewith.
