A furnishing having a horizontally oriented base component, a base depth extension, and a vertically oriented side component is disclosed. The base depth extension having a front surface coupled to the horizontally oriented base component and a back surface that is substantially parallel to the front surface. The vertically oriented side component is coupled to the back surface of the base depth extension.

A seating furniture chassis comprises a base body, first and second side parts, a back part, a plurality of electrically conductive cables fastened to the base body, and first and second fasteners arranged on the base body. The back part is releasably fastenable to the first fastener and the first and second side parts are respectively releasably fastenable at two opposite sides of the base body to the second fastener, a plurality of individual connectors, and a central connector. Each electrically conductive cable connects one of the individual connectors to the central connector.

Embodiments of the invention may include a ready-to-assemble chair, comprising a seat assembly, wherein said seat assembly comprises a top seat surface, at least three sides, and an underside, wherein the underside has an internal cavity defined by the at least three sides; a seat back assembly, wherein said seat back assembly is configured to fit substantially within the internal cavity of the underside of the seat assembly in a flat orientation when said chair is disassembled; and at least three legs. Some aspects of the present invention may include a method of assembly of a ready-to-assemble chair, as well as methods of packaging the same.

A portable chair according to the present disclosure includes a chair frame formed by detachably coupling a plurality of poles, a chair cover detachably coupled to the chair frame and made of a flexible material supporting the body of a user, and a seat member installed at a portion of the chair cover, which supports a hip portion of the user, and made of a hard material.

A modular furniture assembly includes: a base member having a frame assembly, a transverse member having a frame assembly, a foot configured to contact a support surface, and a mounting platform having a plurality of apertures therethrough. The mounting platform is configured to be mounted on the base member frame assembly and the transverse member frame assembly, thereby connecting the frame assemblies. The foot is selectively mounted on the mounting platform, such that the foot is configured to contact the support surface when the modular furniture assembly is in an upright configuration. The mounting platform connects the base and transverse member frame assemblies together and also acts as a platform for receiving a variety of different types of feet.

The present invention relates to the furniture field, in particular outdoor furniture; even more particularly, it relates to a kit configuration of a sofa, armchair, chair or similar item of garden furniture or interior furniture and the relative mounting method.

Knockdown brackets for use with furniture. An example bracket assembly includes a bracket defining a groove to receive a tongue. A clip including a catch is carried at an end of the bracket. The catch is biased into a movement path of the tongue within the groove. A lever is carried by the clip. The lever is structured to move the catch to a released position in which the catch is out of the movement path of the tongue.

A furniture piece includes a seat deck and a seatback. The seatback is pivotally connected to the seat deck so as to pivot between a folded configuration for storage and shipping and an upright configuration for assembly and use. A pair of arms are removably attached to opposing side edges of the seatback and the seat deck. Latches may be used to secure the seatback in the upright configuration and the pair of arms to the seat deck.

In the sofa seat frame provided by the invention, when the seat cushion is placed on the supporting elastic pieces, the first supporting plates can give a certain supporting force to the seat cushion, so as to improve the sitting comfort of users.

A seating furniture chassis comprises a base body, a fastener, and a side part. The fastener is arranged on the base body and comprises a fastening element and a spring element that exerts a spring force on the fastening element. The side part is releasably fastened to the fastener by utilizing the spring force and released by overcoming the spring force. The fastening element is moved counter to the spring force upon fastening of the side part to the fastener. The fastener comprises a first positive-fit element and the side part comprises a second positive-fit element. The first positive-fit element and the second positive-fit element are configured for a positive-fit connection to one another.
