A modular chair including a support portion to allow the support of a user on it and including a frame and a fabric. The fabric defines a surface suitable to support the user and a perimetral area defined by the edges of the surface. The frame defines, in use, a closed profile and is suitable to support the fabric in tension along at least part of the perimetral area, and comprises at least two parts separate and reciprocally loosely connected by two hinges arranged respectively at the ends of said parts to define a configuration of use in which the parts form the frame and a configuration of rest in which the parts are folded together. The hinges define two respective axes of rotation mutually aligned. The frame tensions the fabric only when the parts are in the configuration of use.

The support device comprises a seat comprising a seating surface for supporting a weight of the user; a plurality of legs attached to the seat; a pair of handles configured to attach to substantially opposite side portions of the seat, each handle comprising a pair of end portions for attaching to the seat; and a securing element for securing each handle to the seat; wherein each of the substantially opposite side portions of the seat comprises a plurality of receptacles for snugly fitting the end portions of a respective handle, and wherein the support device is configured such that a portion of the user's weight on the handles of the support device applies a force that has a force component directed into each receptacle and parallel to a central axis of each receptacle.

A moon chair includes front supporting legs, rear supporting legs and a rest frame connected onto the front and rear supporting legs. The rest frame is of the shape of a circular ring obliquely erected when the rest frame is unfolded. The front and rear supporting legs are connected with the rest frame through first and second connecting seats, respectively. Each of the first or second connecting seats comprises an integral bent metal sheet. The two ends of the metal sheet are respectively provided with pin holes for arranging connecting pins in a penetrating manner. The metal sheets on the first or second connecting seats are respectively and movably connected with the front or rear supporting legs and the rest frame through the connecting pins. One end of the metal sheet on a first connecting seat is bent to a U-shape to cover the corresponding front supporting leg.

The rest frame is of the shape of a circular ring obliquely erected when the rest frame is unfolded. The front and rear supporting legs are connected with the rest frame through first and second connecting seats, respectively. Each of the first or second connecting seats comprises an integral bent metal sheet. The two ends of the metal sheet are respectively provided with pin holes for arranging connecting pins in a penetrating manner. The metal sheets on the first or second connecting seats are respectively and movably connected with the front or rear supporting legs and the rest frame through the connecting pins. One end of the metal sheet on a first connecting seat is bent to a U-shape to cover the corresponding front supporting leg.

A plurality of first slots are defined in a bottom edge of the seat board, and a top end of each of the plurality of support legs is inserted into one first slot; a first engagement hole is defined in a side wall of the first slot; and a first through hole is defined in a side wall of the top end of the support leg, and a first compression elastic tab is disposed inside the support leg, a first protrusion being securely arranged on a side of the first compression elastic tab, the first protrusion extending, from the first through hole, out of the side wall of the support leg.

A plurality of first slots are defined in a bottom edge of the seat board, and a top end of each of the plurality of support legs is inserted into one first slot; a first engagement hole is defined in a side wall of the first slot; and a first through hole is defined in a side wall of the top end of the support leg, and a first compression elastic tab is disposed inside the support leg, a first protrusion being securely arranged on a side of the first compression elastic tab, the first protrusion extending, from the first through hole, out of the side wall of the support leg.

The seat is secured to the frame, the seat being upholstered and including a foam cushion supported by flexible support. Two receivers in the frame are at a rear of the frame and between the rear legs of the frame. A backrest comprising a foam cushion is upholstered and has an inner frame supporting the foam cushion, the inner frame including two protrusions extending out of the upholstery wherein the each one of the two protrusions is configured to insert into one of the two receivers. A fastener is provided for each receiver and is configured to secure the protrusion to the corresponding receiver. The backrest is removable upon removal of the fasteners.

The seat is secured to the frame, the seat being upholstered and including a foam cushion supported by flexible support. Two receivers in the frame are at a rear of the frame and between the rear legs of the frame. A backrest comprising a foam cushion is upholstered and has an inner frame supporting the foam cushion, the inner frame including two protrusions extending out of the upholstery wherein the each one of the two protrusions is configured to insert into one of the two receivers. A fastener is provided for each receiver and is configured to secure the protrusion to the corresponding receiver. The backrest is removable upon removal of the fasteners.
