Glued furniture base
The invention is directed to a base for chairs or tables having at least one centrally located column structure. Specifically, the invention is directed to a base composed of several parts, comprising a hub and load-carrying arms radiating therefrom. According to the invention, each arm is separately manufactured and provided with a cavity at least at its proximal end and is individually joined to protrusions on the hub which are inserted into said cavities, and the joint between arms and protrusions is glued.
Seat Plate Gas Cylinder Quick-Release Device
A quick-release device is for securing a rod of any gas cylinder into the plate of any chair, item of furniture, or other device supported by a gas cylinder and activating the rod with a button thereon. This universal quick-release device includes a sleeve in in the seat plate, an adapter fit into the sleeve, the adapter including an upper portion and a lower portion with different inner and outer diameters. The sleeve is configured to receive the lower portion of the adapter in a press-fit engagement. The upper portion is configured to receive the rod of the gas cylinder in a removable engagement.
Chair for active engagement of user
A chair includes a lower chair and an upper chair. The lower chair includes a tilt-swivel mechanism defining a vertical swivel axis, a yoke, and a column extending between the tilt-swivel mechanism and the yoke. The upper chair is pivotably mounted to the yoke about a horizontal upper chair pivot axis. The upper chair includes a seat adapted to cradle the ischial tuberosities of a user.
Connecting mechanism of detachable chair foot and assembling method associated therewith, and chair foot assembly
A connecting mechanism of a detachable chair foot, an assembling method thereof and a chair foot assembly are provided. The connecting mechanism is connected between the central chassis and a detachable chair foot, and includes a one-foot connecting arm connected to the central chassis and extends radially outward, a connecting groove including a transversal groove opening, and a longitudinal groove opening and operatively engaged with the one-foot connecting arm, two inner-convex locking portions respectively arranged on two opposite side groove walls of the connecting groove, two longitudinal locking groove bodies respectively arranged on the one-foot connecting arm; a concave-convex matching structure arranged on the one-foot connecting arm and in the connecting groove of the detachable chair foot. The chair foot assembly with the connecting mechanism not only can save transportation space and improve transportation efficiency, but also reduce the amount of assembly work.
Chair assembly with upholstery covering
A chair includes a base structure, a seat support structure, a back frame comprising a front surface, a rear surface and a forwardly extending bottom portion pivotably connected to the base, a biasing member biasing the back frame from a reclined position toward an upright position, wherein the biasing member is located entirely forward a rearward most edge of the seat support structure, and a back shell comprising a forwardly extending bottom portion connected to the seat support structure, a front surface, a rear surface positioned in front of the front surface of the back frame, a pair of laterally spaced side portions defining an opening therebetween, and a top portion extending laterally between and connected to the side portions, wherein each of the side portions are exclusively connected to the back frame at a first location.
