Wire Grid Polarizer with Slanted Support-Ribs
A wire grid polarizer (WGP) can include an array of support-ribs on a substrate. Sides of the support-ribs can be inclined to one side. A wire can be applied on an upper-side and distal end of each support-rib, each wire being separate from wires on adjacent support-ribs. The WGP can be made with reduced or no etching.
Acrylic adhesive composition
The invention relates to an acrylic adhesive composition, more particularly, to an adhesive composition which: specifies the contents of a (meth)acrylic ester-based monomer and an aromatic group-containing monomer of an acrylic copolymer as a composition having little or no difference of birefringence; has excellent durability; and can reduce light leakage due to flexure by mixing a crosslinkable functional group-containing acrylic copolymer (A) and an acrylic copolymer (B) which does not contain the crosslinkable functional group, in a ratio of 1:9 to 5:5.

The present invention relates to a radical-curable adhesive composition including a (A) radical-polymerizable compound having at least one hydrophilic functional group in the molecule; a (B) phosphate-based compound having three (meth)acrylic groups in the molecule; and a (C) radical initiator, and a polarizing plate and an optical member including the radical-curable adhesive composition.

An optical film of the present invention is an optical film having at least an optically anisotropic layer, in which the optically anisotropic layer is a layer obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing a predetermined liquid crystal compound and a polymerization initiator, and an extrapolated glass transition starting temperature of the optically anisotropic layer is 70° C. or higher.
