A display device using quantum dots is provided. The display device comprises a backlight unit, at least one quantum dot material disposed on the backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display module disposed on the at least one quantum dot material. More particularly, the at least one quantum dot material comprises at least one quantum dot and a silicon oxide (SiO.sub.x) material covering on the at least one quantum dot, in which the at least one quantum dot is a perovskite quantum dot characterized by the general formula MAX.sub.3.

Disclosed herein are an adhesive protective film, an optical member including the same, and an optical display including the same. An adhesive protective film is formed of a composition including a (meth)acrylic binder derived from a monomer mixture including: an alkyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer; and at least one selected from among a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer, a carboxyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer, and a polysiloxane (meth)acrylate, the adhesive protective film having an initial peel strength of about 100 gf/inch or less and a peel strength decrease rate of about 50% or less, as calculated according to Equation 1.

A composite material includes: a metal substrate and a polymer layer which are directly interconnected by an adhesion promoter layer. The adhesion promoter layer is obtained by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PE-CVD) at least partially using a mixture of precursor compounds containing an unsaturated hydrocarbon and an organosilicon compound. In an embodiment, the organosilicon compound includes a siloxane, silane, or silicate.

An adhesive composition includes a polyvinyl alcohol binder, a crosslinking agent and a compound of Formula 1 below,

This flame-retardant polyorganosiloxane includes (A) a straight-chain polyorganosiloxane having two or more alkenyl groups in one molecule and whose viscosity (25? C.) is 10,000 to 1,000,000 mPa.Math.s; (B) 30 to 80 mass % of a resinoid polyorganosiloxane which includes Q unit and has 1.5 or more alkenyl groups on average, and in which a molar ratio of alkoxy groups to alkyl groups is 0.030 or less; (C) an amount of a polyorganohydrogensiloxane, whose average degree of polymerization is 10 or more, and in which a SiH content is 5.0 mmol/g or more, in which SiH/(a total of alkenyl groups) is 1.0 to 3.0 mol; and (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. A flame-retardant polyorganosiloxane composition capable of reducing an amount of a platinum-based metal compound is provided.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL FILM, PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE LAYER FOR OPTICAL FILM, PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE OPTICAL FILM AND IMAGE DISPLAY
A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film of the present invention comprises a (meth)acryl-based polymer(A): and a polyether compound (B) having a polyether skeleton and a reactive silyl group represented by formula (1): SiR.sub.aM.sub.3-a at at least one terminal, wherein R represents a monovalent organic group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent; M represents a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group; and <a> represents an integer of 1 to 3, provided that in cases where two or more R groups, R groups is the same or different, and in cases where two or more M groups, M groups is the same or different. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film is capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having reworkability that enables an optical film to be easily peeled off from a liquid crystal panel or the like with no adhesive residue and satisfactory durability that prevents a bonded optical film from peeling or lifting.
SEALANT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL SEALING, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
The present invention aims to provide a sealant for sealing liquid crystal and a liquid crystal display device, which can sufficiently reduce image sticking and stains at the periphery of a liquid crystal display. The sealant for sealing liquid crystal of the present invention contains a curable resin and a radical polymerization initiator, wherein the radical polymerization initiator contains a silsesquioxane group. The silsesquioxane group is preferably a group represented by the following formula (I) or (II):

wherein R.sup.1s are the same as or different from each other and each represent a monovalent organic group; R.sup.2 represents a divalent linking group; R.sup.3s are the same as or different from each other and each represent a monovalent organic group; and R.sup.4 represents a divalent linking group.
COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT AND SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
A composition is provided which is useful for the production of a cured product which is excellent in heat resistance and light permeability. The composition includes a polysiloxane, at least one alkoxysilane partial condensate having no hydroxyl group selected from the group consisting of a T-type alkoxysilane partial condensate having no hydroxyl group and a Q-type alkoxysilane partial condensate having no hydroxyl group, and a phosphoric acid-based catalyst. The polysiloxane is represented by the following formula (1):

In formula (1), m represents an integer of 5 to 3000 and R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group. The plurality of R.sup.1 may be the same or different.
Frame sealant composition, display panel and display device
A frame sealant composition, a display panel and a display device are provided, and the frame sealant composition includes a frame sealant (1) and an elastomer (2), wherein upon the frame sealant composition being used for cell-assembling of two substrates (100, 200), the elastomer (2) is pressed by the two substrates (100, 200) to form a barrier structure. With the frame sealant composition provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, an impact of the liquid crystal layer (400) to the frame sealant in the process of cell-assembling the two substrates is effectively reduced, and a puncture resistance of the frame sealant is improved, thereby a product yield is increased.
