Self-regulating heated seat cushion
A seat cushion includes a support member. A cover encloses the support member. A self-regulating heating device extends between the support member and an upper portion of the cover.
Therapeutic cushion
A therapeutic cushioning assembly and method. The assemble provides structural support to a user's buttocks and spine while the user rests in a sitting position for a prolonged period of time. The cushioning assembly provides a firm rectangular cushion and a firm circular cushion comprising a high-density foam. The cushions detachably mate in a perpendicular disposition via magnets within the cushions. The position of the rectangular cushion and circular cushion can be rearranged to provide support for either the buttocks or spine, depending on the dimensions and comfort of the user.
Cushion
A fluid-fillable cushion comprises upper and lower layers, a first chamber and a second chamber and a discrete pressure distributing unit situated between the upper and lower layers, said pressure distributing unit providing a fluid connection between at least the first chamber and the second chamber. Such a cushion reduces leaks and allows controlled pressure equalisation between the chambers. Also disclosed is a process for making such cushions and seating products comprising such cushions.
Seat cushion
A seat cushion that provides enhanced comfort and support for a user, comprises a base surface and a plurality of air cells that are positioned on and extend generally upwardly away from the base surface. The plurality of air cells include (i) a first paired air cell having a first upper surface, the entire first upper surface being angled in a first direction relative to the base surface; and (ii) a second paired air cell having a second upper surface, the entire second upper surface being angled in a second direction relative to the base surface that is different than the first direction. The second paired air cell is positioned adjacent to the first paired air cell. Additionally, the first paired air cell and the second paired air cell cooperate to provide a substantially concave combined upper surface.
Portable seat cushion
A portable seat cushion for placement on a seat for added comfort and support is provided that includes an elongated rectangular base comprising a front portion, seat portion, and back portion. The base includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The seat cushion also includes a generally wedge-shaped main cushion, and a generally rectangular-shaped back cushion, wherein the main and back cushions engage the base. The seat cushion is moveable between a deployed configuration and a rolled configuration.
Vehicle seating cushion with lines to interconnect with line detents on a structural support
A seating assembly for a vehicle comprising: a cushion comprising an outer edge and a plurality of lines; a carrier comprising a perimeter outer surface and a plurality of line detents near the perimeter outer surface of the carrier retaining the plurality of lines such that the cushion is interconnected with the carrier; wherein the plurality of lines and plurality of line detents are arranged to prevent the edge of the cushion from rolling up. The cushion can further comprise a rearward extending lip having an inwardly facing surface; wherein the cushion at least partially surrounds the carrier with at least a portion of the inwardly facing surface of the lip facing the perimeter outer surface of the carrier.
METHOD OF REMANUFACTURING A TONER CARTRIDGE
A method of remanufacturing a toner cartridge includes installing a modified end cap in which a portion of a drive assembly for an internal toner seal removal mechanism has been disabled. With the modified end cap installed, the toner cartridge may be post tested without removing the internal toner seal. When the post test is complete the modified end cap is removed and a non-modified end cap with a functional drive assembly is installed in its place.
BACK REST TO BE USED WITH SEAT OR CHAIR
Back rest to be used in association with a chair or a seat providing an adaptable convex back support for individual adjustment. The back rest comprises a plate shaped body that is bent into a curved shape by use of a tensioning device. The back rest can be used to increase comfort while seated, for example at the office or during travels, or to prevent or relieve back strain and ache as a result of being seated over longer periods or having back problems. The back rest is portable and fits into a backpack or handbag, and can be set up in a conventional chair, for example a seat in an airplane, waiting area, or office chair.
Seating device and method of use
A method of using a seating device including a base, a plurality of roller mechanisms, a seat operably associated with the base via the plurality of roller mechanisms for movement relative thereto, the seat including a leading edge in a direction of travel, comprises receiving a user's sitting area on the seat of the seating device with the seat in a position centered over the base; and based on user input the seat moving toward the leading edge in the direction of travel away from the seat centered over the base while the user's muscles are engaged to maintain an upright posture, helping to improve the user's motor control, stability and strength over time.
Cushion
An apparatus for improving blood flow in a user's leg and improving posture is disclosed herein. The apparatus is a portable seating cushion that a user may sit upon, which improves blood flow by reducing point-pressure that may otherwise be applied to nerves and blood vessels in a user's leg, including the sciatic nerve. Moreover, the portable seating cushion improves posture by creating a forward pelvic tilt, which causes the rest of the user's shoulders, spine, back, and neck to come into alignment when the user sits on the cushion.
