Apparatus, systems and methods related to convertible garments for multiple uses. In one illustrative embodiment, one exemplary convertible garment may include a multilayered textile body having a central opening, which can be arranged in a first conformation to serve as an insulated jacket or poncho that features a hood disposed at the central opening, and, may include hand-warming and security pockets and a yoke with a closeable recess. Such a convertible garment can be arranged in a second conformation to serve as an insulated ground cloth and reversed to serve as a protective cover or blanket. The garment may feature an attached storage pouch that is stowed in the yoke recess in the first and second conformations. In a third conformation, the garment may be folded and stowed in the storage pouch to serve as a vented cushion.

Disclosed is a seat pad assembly having ventilation for comfort and heat dissipation. The seat pad assembly includes a frame with padding on top of the frame. The padding having multiple pores for the air to pass through. The frame includes a side opening on its sidewall and a front opening on its front wall. A channel fluidly connects the first opening to the second opening. A cooling module having fans is coupled to the first opening. The top of the frame is having apertures along the length of the channel, wherein the channel and the apertures are configured, such as an airflow between the first opening and the second opening results in drawing the air from the pores of the padding through the apertures into the channel. Alternatively, the channel and the apertures can be configured to draw a portion of the air flowing between the first opening and the second opening through the apertures into the pores of the padding.

Various embodiments provide a folding chair. The folding chair includes a frame body having a back, an arm, a front leg and a rear leg frame members. The front and rear leg frame members are configured to support the frame body in an upright position on a ground surface in an unfolded state. Each frame member includes an intermediate section, and a pair of extended sections extending from the intermediate section forming a U-shaped frame member. The frame member also includes a plurality of connecting members moveably coupling the plurality of frame members for allowing the frame body to attain the unfolded state or a folded state. The folding chair also includes a cover member configured to cover the frame body to form at least a seat portion and a backrest portion. The seat portion is supported by the arm frame member and the backrest portion is supported by the back frame member.

The present invention discloses a foldable seat cushion which comprises a first cushion body at a front region thereof, a second cushion body at a back region thereof opposite to the first cushion body and having a lower spine supporting portion, at least one third cushion body disposed between the first cushion body and the second cushion body, and at least one folding member for connecting the at least one third cushion body to the first cushion body and the second cushion body.

A product consists of two arms added to furniture seating that slides into a side pocketed cushion keeping them in place. Alignment rods work in conjunction with a side pocketed cushion to hold upholstered furniture seating in place. The alignment rod is attached to the furniture mechanically or by welding, the cushion side pocket is stitched into the fabric of the cushion. The alignment rod slides into the side pocketed cushion allowing movement with the angle adjustment of furniture back. The technical field is devices for holding furniture cushions, like a rod inserted into an object to keep it from moving. Past options overlook a way for a cushion to slide when adjusting the angle of the back. The most common method for attaching a cushion uses a fabric tie, Velcro band or snap band. For instance, fabric ties become unstitched or break, Velcro wears out, or snaps break.

An internally supported cushion for a seating unit is provided. The internally supported cushion includes an internal structure that provides rigidity when used adjacent a back upright or a side upright of a seating unit. The internal structure generally includes a rigid core element that is sandwiched between foam layers. The rigid core element is approximately upright and extends in the lengthwise and widthwise directions of the internally supported cushion. A batting layer is positioned immediately beneath an upholstery covering to prevent the covering from contacting the internal foam layers, which encapsulate the rigid core element.

A removable protective cover that also acts as a carrier for storing and transporting an outdoor furniture cushion of an outdoor piece of furniture having a seat support, arms, back rest, and legs. The protective cushion is unattached and separated from the cushion when covering the cushion adjacent thereto. The protective cushion is a flexible layer which is substantially rectangular with opposite first and second distal ends configured with snap closure fasteners and with an internal handle rod in each of the protective cushion's distal ends. The protective cushion is adapted to wrap around the seat and/or back cushions with the snap fasteners from the first and second distal ends engaging each other for enclosing the cushions for transporting and storage. Internal handles are adapted for carrying the cover enclosing a cushion, and the protective cushion is stored in the chair during normal user occupancy use of the chair.

A cushion for improving sitting posture, comprising a cushion body (1). The cushion body (1) can be placed on a plane. At least two hump portions (11 and 13) are formed on the cushion body (1). The two hump portions (11 and 13) are a first hump portion (11) and a second hump portion (13), respectively. The first hump portion (11) and the second hump portion (13) are used for supporting the parts of a human body corresponding to the front and back of the pelvis (3), respectively. The first hump portion (11) and the second hump portion (13) are arranged at an interval, so that a trench (12) is formed on the cushion body (1) between the first hump portion (11) and the second hump portion (13). The trench (12) is used for supporting the part of the human body corresponding to the lower end of the ischium or the lower end of the sacrococcyx. The cushion can relax the hip joint and surrounding muscles of the human body so as to facilitate blood supply, can ensure that the human spine always tends to maintain a correct curve so as to protect the lumbar vertebrae (2) of the human body, and can also further relax the cervical vertebrae and surrounding neck muscle tissues so as to prevent backache and headache.

A seating aid includes: sensory input means for providing sensory input to a person while sitting on a seat, the sensory input means for resisting outward movement of thighs of the person while sitting on the seat; and attaching means for releasably attaching the sensory input means to the seat such that the sensory input means will be disposed above the seat; where the seating aid is configured to allow, with the seating aid disposed on the seat, the person either to sit directly on the seat or to sit on a flexible material of the seating aid that is overlying and in contact with the seat.
