Posture Detection and Correction Cushion
A method of detecting and correcting a user's posture through use of a mobile posture-detection cushion for a chair or any other seating apparatus. The cushion contains individual support modules that actively monitor a user's current seated position and adjust the user to attain an optimum sitting posture in response to individual pressure sensors within the cushion, and provides user-specific feedback to each individual user over a period of time of use of the cushion.
Leg supporter structure for chair seat plate
A leg supporter structure for a chair seat plate, in which a leg supporter having a movable structure is mounted on a front end of a frame of a seat plate of a chair so that the leg supporter is rotated according to a user's body shape or posture, thereby softly supporting the user's popliteal part by minimizing pressure applied to the user's popliteal part. The leg supporter structure for a chair seat plate is applied to a chair seat plate to which a mesh member is combined with a frame of a predetermined shape, and includes: a lower frame of a rectangular shape; a U-shaped upper frame mounted along the upper surface of an outer wall of the lower frame; and a leg supporter of a bar shape which is mounted at an open front end of the upper frame to be selectively rotatable through rotary shafts disposed at both ends.

Seat
A seat has a supporting frame being rigid, two seat cushions disposed above the supporting frame, and two supporting members. The supporting frame has a main body and four side bodies fixedly mounted on two front ends and two rear ends of the main body. The supporting members are mounted on bottom surfaces of the seat cushions and are connected to the supporting frame. Each one of the supporting members has multiple supporting elements respectively located at a front half section and a rear half section of a corresponding one of the seat cushions. Each one of the supporting elements has a guiding rod mounted on the supporting frame and a main spring disposed around the guiding rod. The seat provides good support by the supporting frame and the supporting members and provides a cushioning performance by the main spring.
OFFICE, WORK AND LEISURE CHAIR AND RETROFIT KIT FOR A CHAIR OR A SEAT SURFACE FOR CAUSING SUBLIMINAL MOVEMENTS OF THE PERSON SITTING THEREON
Office, work and leisure chair and retrofit kit for causing subliminal movements of the person sitting thereon. The chair has a cruciform base (1), freely articulated rollers (4), a gas-spring support (2) and an interface panel (5) resting thereon as a support panel. Mounted on the support panel is a base panel (28) bearing a seat cover (19) with a seat surface and back rest (22). The seat cover is provided and allowed to wobble, resting via a cover panel (27) on a plurality of spring elements (7), which are displaceable radially, or obliquely in relation to the radial direction, or helically from the centre of the base panel to the periphery of the base panel. The spring elements are mechanically, hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically displaceable, so that the wobble distance of the seat cover and the attenuation of the wobble movement are variable.

Lift chair and seat
A lift chair includes a lift mechanism that maintains a continuous seating position during forward and elevated movement by supporting the occupant's seat, arms and back. The mobile section of the chair will also lower the occupant to the normal seating height. The gel cushion seating surface is attached at least to the moveable section of the lift chair. The gel cushion seating surface of the chair has a plurality of gel cushion cylinders arranged in a grid that provide a rhythmically changing support area at multiple points on the occupant's buttocks and thighs. This provides a comforting massage which reduces stress on the body associated with prolonged seating.
Seat cushion extension apparatus for vehicle
A seat cushion extension apparatus for a vehicle seat includes an extension unit slidable from a front end portion of a seat frame in a vehicle to a position disposed forwards of the front end portion of the seat frame, locking units for locking the extension unit with respect to the seat frame at a locking position, and allowing the extension unit to be slidable such that the extension unit protrudes forwards of the seat frame at a release position, and a lever for controlling the locking units between the locking position and the release position. The extension unit is supported by guide shafts to be movable forwards and rearwards in housings fixed to the seat frame. The guide shafts are locked in the housings at the locking position and are movable with respect to the seat frame at the release position.
Method of making a chair with pivot function
Some embodiments relate to a chair including a base, a hub, and a seat frame. The hub is supported by the base and includes first and second side mounts and first and second covers. The first side mount is positioned on a first side of the chair and includes a back portion and a bottom portion. The first cover is coupled to the first side mount to define a first channel with the first side mount. The seat frame includes a first lateral member having a lower portion and an upper portion that is pivotally coupled to the back portion of the first side mount and is configured to angulate relative to the lower portion. The lower portion of the first lateral member is slidably received in the first channel such that two sides and a bottom of the lower portion received within the first channel are substantially hidden.
