Foldable Chair with a Metal Seat
A foldable chair includes a chair body having two rear legs, a metal seat movable upward and foldable on the rear legs so as to occupy little storage room. When the seat is moved to a seated position and when the rear legs are moved to a stretch-out position, the seat has a bottom edge seated on the top end of the rear legs and defines a straight line aligned with a middle line of the top end of the rear leg. An integrally formed strengthening structure extends across a bottom side of the seat so that gravity center of the seat is concentrated on the top ends of the rear legs, thereby strengthening the supporting ability of the rear legs relative to the seat so that even sitting of an overweight person on the seat does not deform and damage the seat and the rear legs.
Seating arrangement
A seating arrangement includes a seat arrangement that includes first, second, third and fourth link members coupled to one another, a back arrangement movable between an upright position and a reclined position and coupled to the seat arrangement such that the first link member moves between forward and rearward positions as the back arrangement is moved between the upright and reclined positions, and a stop arrangement including a stop link coupled to at least one of the first link member, the third link and the fourth link member such that the stop link moves with the associated link member as the back assembly moves between the upright and reclined positions, wherein travel of the stop link is limited with respect to the second link member thereby limiting a rearward movement of the back arrangement toward the reclined position.

Convertible furniture unit, slat for use in forming a furniture unit and method of using a convertible furniture unit
The convertible furniture unit comprises a hinge member pivotally linking first and second furniture portions to allow the first and second furniture portions to relatively pivot relative to each other to adopt a number of different angular relative positions, and a locking mechanism to releasably lock the first and second furniture portion in a given angular relative position. The first and second furniture portions each comprise a number of slats that are intermeshed with and are slidable between the slats of the other one of the first and second furniture portions. Each slat comprises a hinge portion pivotally attached to the hinge member, an arm extending away from the hinge portion and a free extremity opposite the hinge portion. The first and second furniture portions are capable of adopting at least: a first position wherein the arms of the slats of the first furniture portion extend away from the hinge member and through the arms of the slats of the second furniture portion; and a second position in which the arms of the slats of the first furniture portion extend away from hinge and away from the arms of the slats of the second furniture portion without crossing or extending through the arms of the slats of the second furniture portion. The first and second positions of the first and second furniture portions are both operable for use of the furniture unit by a user.

TORSO SUPPORT DEVICE
A torso support device for use in performing under-sink tasks includes a pair of panels that is rigid. The panels are mutually hingedly coupled. The panels are configured to selectively position in an extended configuration and a folded configuration. A first coupler is coupled to a bottom face proximate to a first end of the pair of panels. The first coupler is configured to selectively couple to a lower support of a sink cabinet. The panels extend angularly and substantially coplanarly from the sink cabinet. The panels are configured to support a user who is positioned supinely upon the panels. The user is positioned to perform tasks within the sink cabinet. A handle is coupled to the first end of the pair of panels. The handle is configured to be grasped in a hand of the user to lift and position the panels.
VEHICLE SEAT CORE MEMBER
There is provided a vehicle seat core member that is superior in terms of a dimensional accuracy as well as integrity of a thermoplastic resin expanded beads molded body and a frame member. A vehicle seat core member (100) is formed as an integrally molded article of a thermoplastic resin expanded beads molded body (10) and a frame member (20), the thermoplastic resin expanded beads molded body (10) is formed of thermoplastic resin expanded beads (30) having through holes (32), and a porosity of the thermoplastic resin expanded beads molded body (10) is 10 vol % or more and 40 vol % or less.
3-in-1 convertible furniture piece
A convertible furniture piece includes a base frame, pivotable arms connected to the base frame, and a back member rotatably connected to the pivotable arms, the back member comprising first and second portions coupled together by a linkage system. The connection of the pair of pivotable arms to the base frame comprises a first pivot point that enables translation of the back member between a generally upright couch position and a horizontal table position, with the first and second portions of the back member being joined in each of the couch position and the table position. The connection of the back member to the pair of pivotable arms comprises a second pivot point that enables translation of the back member between a generally upright couch position and a bed position, with the first and second portions of the back member being rotated relative to one another in the bed position.
Upholstered furniture piece having upholstered arm panels
A sofa with an upholstered arm panel has an arm frame with a layered composition comprising an underlayment material layer, a fiber material layer positioned on top of and contacting the underlayment material layer, and a covering upholstery material layer positioned on top of and contacting the fiber material layer. The underlayment material layer is comprised a planar sheet of Ethylene-vinyl acetate closed cell foam. The EVA foam extends forwardly on the arm frame to create a forward extending lip. The use of EVA foam reduces the number of structural and cushioning materials, fasteners, and labor currently required in arm panel construction.
Bendable panel for furniture and sofa having same
Disclosed are bendable panels for furniture, and sofa frames and sofas composed of bendable panels. A bendable panel for furniture includes a panel formed with one or more bending lines. The one or more bending lines divide the panel into a panel body and one or more panel extensions. A respective panel extension in the one or more panel extensions is bendable with respect to the panel body along a corresponding bending line in the one or more bending lines between a first angle and a second angle.
