Furniture with a heated seat consists of a fixed furniture frame having a seating surface to accommodate one or more cushions. One or more removable cushions are positioned on the seating surface. Each removable cushion includes a foam body. An electric heating pad is supported by the foam body. A cushion cover is provided that overlies the foam body. An umbilical power cord is electrically coupled to the heating pad. The umbilical power cord extends from the foam body through an opening in the cushion cover and connects with an electrical connector of a power transformer module on the furniture frame. Power is supplied by the power transformer module to the heating pad when the activation switch of the power transformer module is in the on position.

Device for linking bodily movement to learning behaviour, whereby this device (1) consists of a number of objects that can be used by pupils as flexible adjustable seating units (2), characterised in that these seating units are each equipped with a digital module (4) that is able to detect movements of the seating unit caused by the pupils, and to communicate these movements wirelessly to a central teaching module (3), after which the central teaching module (3) can wirelessly send back an individual message to each of the seating units (2), adapted to the movement that is made with each of the seating units.

A lounge having a matrix mat and a plurality of modules capable of being inserted into the matrix mat. The lounge may include a frame configured as a rigid frame, a modular frame, and combinations thereof. The modular frame may further include a tri-cable suspension. The tri-cable suspension may be attached to a dilator retractor mechanism. The modules may be a mushroom cap module, a spider spring module, a web module, a lighting module, an electronics module, and combinations thereof.

A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of individually pocketed springs. A dimensionally stabilizing substrate is secured to at least some of the strings on one of the top and bottom surfaces of the strings. A scrim sleet is secured to at least some of the strings on an opposed surface of the strings to maintain the positions of the strings. The dimensionally stabilizing substrate is laterally rigid enough to maintain length and width dimensions of the coil spring assembly. A vehicle seat including: a seat pad made of foamed resin; and a seat cover being integral with the seat pad, wherein a seating surface of the seat pad includes a seating part and a bank part, wherein a portion of the seat cover covering a seat inner side portion of the bank part includes a seat cover main part and a planar reinforcing member arranged on a back side of the seat cover main part, wherein the reinforcing member is configured by a material bendable and deformable towards a seat pad side and includes a general section and a flexible section which can be more easily bent towards the seat pad side than the general section, and wherein a portion of the reinforcing member covering a peak side of the bank part is configured by the flexible section.
