A portable seat cushion for placement on a seat for added comfort and support is provided that includes an elongated rectangular base comprising a front portion, seat portion, and back portion. The base includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The seat cushion also includes a generally wedge-shaped main cushion, and a generally rectangular-shaped back cushion, wherein the main and back cushions engage the base. The seat cushion is moveable between a deployed configuration and a rolled configuration.

The plurality of compression limiters are oriented in the first direction and are formed from a material compatible with the woven fabric. A method for making the suspended fabric seat is also disclosed.

A lightweight seat for vehicles, in particular for rear seats of motor vehicles, has a carrier part, wherein the carrier part is produced from a dimensionally stable material and integrally includes at least one seat shell for a seat user.

A specially designed seat assembly allows a user to sit in lotus style meditation position while meditating. The seat assembly positions and elevates the user in order to provide comfort while holding the user in the correct position. The seat assembly can provide dual level support through an upper platform and lower platform. The seat assembly is specially shaped in order to conform to the contours of the user. The knees are elevated by the upper platform, and the feet and ankles are drawn inward and supported from the ground by the lower platform. The user is held in a traditional lotus style seating position. The seat assembly allows for the user to remain in a relaxed state, free from discomfort. The seat assembly is supported by a metal skeleton, which prevents the seat assembly from becoming deformed upon repeated use. The seat assembly has a cushion formed around the metal skeleton, which is stable, yet comfortable for the user.

Cushions for use in seating for boats and methods of using the same. According to one embodiment, the cushion is designed for use with a bucket-type boat seat and includes an insert and a casing. The insert has a J-shape and is made up of three foam pads joined to one another, with a first of the foam pads designed to be positioned over the boat seat, with a second of the foam pads designed to be positioned in front of the boat seat, and with a third of the foam pads designed to be positioned under the boat seat. The casing preferably conforms substantially to the shape of the insert and is designed to permit the insert to be inserted into and/or removed from the casing. The cushion additionally includes a fastener coupled to the casing for use in securing the casing to the boat seat.

A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion. The seat cushion includes a seat cushion frame including a pair of side frames provided to be separated from each other in a width direction of the vehicle seat, a seat cushion pad placed on the seat cushion frame, and an impact absorbing member provided below the seat cushion pad. The impact absorbing member is disposed between the pair of side frames in the width direction of the vehicle seat. The impact absorbing member is provided with a cavity portion. The impact absorbing member is supported from below by a plate-shaped member.
