Rope rocking chair
A rope rocking chair comprises at least two side panels, a brace members, rope members, armrests, and arcuate sections. The side panels are fixedly attached to each other via the brace members positioned substantially perpendicular to the at least two side panels and positioned apart by the brace members. The rope members are attached spatially apart to the side panels in a direction parallel to one of the brace members to provide a seating area. The armrest positioned at a middle section of each of the at least two side panels is provided for resting an arm of the user. The arcuate section configured at a lower section of each of the at least two side panels provides the back and forth rocking motion to the user seated on the seating area of the rope rocking chair.

Seat
The invention relates to a seat for supporting a bottom of a seated user, which seat includes a first seat part for supporting a first part of the bottom of the user and a second seat part for supporting a second part of the bottom of the user. The first seat part is elastically deformable and has a first modulus of elasticity. The second seat part has a second modulus of elasticity which is at least 10 times greater than the first modulus of elasticity.

The invention relates to a seat for supporting a bottom of a seated user, which seat includes a first seat part for supporting a first part of the bottom of the user and a second seat part for supporting a second part of the bottom of the user. The first seat part is elastically deformable and has a first modulus of elasticity. The second seat part has a second modulus of elasticity which is at least 10 times greater than the first modulus of elasticity.
Seat support assembly for furniture having leg rest extension and seat back recline
A seat support assembly supports a cushion of a furniture member. The seat support assembly may include a frame, at least two seat springs, a support spring, and a coil spring. The support spring may be positioned between two seat springs, and the seat springs and the support spring may extend across the frame. A coil spring may be positioned on and attached to the support spring. The coil spring may extend to and bias against the two seat springs positioned on either side of the support spring.
SEATING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
In one aspect, seating apparatus are described herein. In some embodiments, a seating apparatus comprises a seating surface, two arms projecting upwardly from the seating surface, and a fastening strap. The fastening strap is operable to be adjusted between a tightened position and a loosened position. When the fastening strap is adjusted to the tightened position, it is operable to restrict motion of the seating surface relative to the chair.

In some embodiments, a seating apparatus comprises a seating surface, two arms projecting upwardly from the seating surface, and a fastening strap. An adjustable seat back includes a frame having a perimeter and a cushioning material that is disposed at least partially within the frame's perimeter. The adjustable seat back also includes a tension member and a plurality of straps that are disposed over the frame with a distal end that is coupled with the cushioning material and a proximal end that is operationally coupled with the tension member. A reel based tightening mechanism is operably coupled with the tension member and configured to tension the tension member and thereby tension the plurality of straps. Tensioning of the plurality of straps effects adjustment of the cushioning material.
