VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF FORMING
A component for a vehicle seat assembly, a seat assembly, and a method of forming a seat assembly are provided. A unitary foam cushion has a first side, and a second side opposite to the first side to support an occupant. A former extends outwardly from the second side of the foam cushion to a distal end spaced apart from the foam cushion. The former cooperates with the second side of the foam cushion to define an open channel. The open channel is sized to receive a seam of a trim cover assembly. The former defines a first side wall of the open channel, and the second side of the foam cushion defines a second side wall of the open channel. The first side wall defined by the former faces away from the second side of the foam cushion.

Crip and Cord
A clip has an engagement portion including: a first arm with a first claw at the top end side; a second arm with a second claw at the top end side; and a bottom provided at the respective base end sides of the first arm and the second arm. Projections of the first claw and the second claw defines a left-right width of a mouth. A third claw projects into the retaining space at a position closer to the base end of the first arm, and a fourth claw is provided which projects into the retaining space at a position closer to the base end of the second arm. The third claw is narrower than the first claw in their widths along a front-back direction orthogonal to the depth direction of the retaining space extending from the mouth to the bottom and the left-right width direction of the mouth.

Exercise Chair Utilizing An Adjustable Resistance Band System
An exercise chair includes a chair frame, and a base fixed with the chair frame that is adapted to support the exercise chair on a floor surface. The base and chair frame have a plurality of anchors projecting away therefrom. A cushion may cover at least a portion of the frame. Multiple resistance bands each have multiple longitudinal slots therethrough, each adapted for selective fixing with any of the anchor knobs or several attachable exercise devices. In use, with the person seated in the chair and the chair resting on the support surface, one or two of the resistance bands can be fixed with any of the anchor knobs, so that the person can exercise by pushing and/or pulling the at least one resistance band. Different types of attachments are included for exercising varying muscle groups.

Layered structure for a seat cushion
A seat cushion having a layered structure including at least a surface layer unit and a cushion layer unit disposed below the surface layer unit, characterized in that the cushion layer unit includes at least one nonwoven layer and at least one spacer crocheted-fabric and/or spacer knitted-fabric layer. A seat cushion of a seating furniture or an automobile seat or an office seating furniture or an aircraft seat are exemplary embodiments of the seat cushion mentioned above.

Upholstered furniture piece having upholstered arm panels
A sofa with an upholstered arm panel has an arm frame with a layered composition comprising an underlayment material layer, a fiber material layer positioned on top of and contacting the underlayment material layer, and a covering upholstery material layer positioned on top of and contacting the fiber material layer. The underlayment material layer is comprised a planar sheet of Ethylene-vinyl acetate closed cell foam. The EVA foam extends forwardly on the arm frame to create a forward extending lip. The use of EVA foam reduces the number of structural and cushioning materials, fasteners, and labor currently required in arm panel construction.
Non-Rotating T-Nut and Screw Catch for Use in a Chair Panel and Method for Using the Same
An oval-shaped T-nut that is received within an oval receiver machined into the upholstered panel to be secured to a chair frame is provided. The oval shape of the T-nut prevents the oval-shaped T-nut from rotating when a screw is driven into the T-nut. Further, this eliminates the necessity of stapling the traditional plastic T-nut to the chair panel, thus reducing materials and eliminating a manufacturing step, thus saving time and money associated with the manufacture of an upholstered metal frame chair. In addition to the oval-shaped T-nut described herein, a novel U-shaped screw catch is also provided which cooperates with a barbed nylon or plastic push rivet to secure the upholstered chair panels to one another.
