PROCESS FOR REMOVING SULFUR COMPOUNDS FROM HYDROCARBON STREAMS
A process is presented for the removal of contaminants like sulfur compounds from hydrocarbons. The sulfur compounds are removed from hydrocarbons that may be a feed to cracking units. A feed stream is treated with a clinoptilolite or a barium exchanged zeolite adsorbent to effectively remove carbon disulfides from the feed hydrocarbon. The adsorbent may be regenerated by a hydrogen stream, a hydrocarbon stream or a mixture thereof.
REMOVAL OF ACID GAS FROM A FEED GAS STREAM USING SMALL PORE ZEOLITES CONTAINING DOUBLE-SIX RINGS AND CAGES
A method for removing acid gas from feed gas, comprising: alternating input of feed gas between beds of adsorbent particles that comprise zeolite SSZ-98 or SSZ-105; wherein gas contacts one of the beds during an adsorption and tail gas is vented from another bed by desorption; wherein a product gas containing no greater than about 2 Mol % carbon dioxide is produced, and methane and ethane are recovered. A method for removing acid gas, wherein the product gas contains 1 wppm H.sub.2S or less. A process for removing acid gas from feed gas, comprising adjusting selectivity of an adsorbent by changing a substitution of ERI phase with LEV phase in an intergrown molecular sieve. A process for removing acid gas from a feed gas, comprising: contacting a feed gas with adsorbent comprising a molecular sieve having a defined intergrowth of an ERI phase and a LEV phase.

METHOD OF PREPARING LUBE BASE OIL
The present disclosure provides a method of preparing a lube base oil. The method comprises (a) providing a feed stream, (b) separating the feed stream into at least two fraction streams comprising a first fraction stream and a second fraction stream, and (c) before or after the separating of the feed stream, introducing the feed stream or at least two fraction streams into a first and second hydro-processing treatments to produce at least two product streams, and the first product stream has a higher viscosity index (VI) than the second product stream. The present disclosure also provides a lube base oil and a lubricant composition comprising the lube base oil.
