CHAIRS INCLUDING FLEXIBLE FRAMES
A chair includes a support spine. A seat assembly is coupled to the support spine, and the seat assembly includes a flexible frame being movable relative to the support spine. The flexible frame comprises a first frame element, a second frame element coupled to the first frame element at a first corner, and a third frame element coupled to the second frame element at a second corner. The first corner and the second corner are substantially independently movable relative to the support spine. A conformable panel is coupled to the flexible frame and configured to engage an occupant of the chair. A resistance assembly couples the support spine to the flexible frame. The resistance assembly bears against the flexible frame to facilitate substantially independent movement of the first corner and the second corner relative to the support spine.

BODY SUPPORT DEVICE AND METHOD
The present disclosure provides a support device including a body interface layer resting against a user's body, a core adjacent the body interface layer with a plurality of independently acting micro coils surrounded by an enclosure layer, a stabilizing layer more rigid than the enclosure layer and the body interface layer, and an outer layer adjacent the stabilizing layer and which rests against an external surface such as a seat back when the device is in use. The body interface layer includes a curvilinear or parabolic profile with its inflection point toward a central region of the device and tapering toward lateral ends thereof. The body interface layer is thickest toward its intermediate portion which aligns with a central row of the spiral biasing devices, the body interface layer thinner outer intermediate regions aligning with outer spiral biasing device rows, providing for a consistently distributed pressure against the body.
Chair With A Footrest Device
A chair includes a base having two sideboards. Each sideboard includes first and second coupling portions respectively at rear and front portions thereof. A seat is mounted on the base. A third coupling portion and a fourth coupling portion are provided on each lateral side of the seat. Each fourth coupling portion is coupled to one of the second coupling portions of the base. The seat is movable in a longitudinal direction and has a front end supported by the second and fourth coupling portions. A positioning device is coupled with the third coupling portion of the seat and the base, providing support for the rear end of the seat. The positioning device positions the seat relative to the base. A backrest is mounted to a rear of the base and is pivotably connected to the rear end of the seat and the sideboards.

Furniture device with adjustable firmness
The invention relates to a furniture device configured to receive the weight of a being, said furniture device having a holding arrangement (20) and at least one section (30). The section (30) comprises a base (2), a movable plate element (6), a moving mechanism (4) and at least one elastic device (12). The plate element (6) is configured to interact with the at least one elastic device and to be moved by the moving mechanism in respect to the base in order to adjust the firmness of the at least one elastic device. The elastic device comprises a pocket (14) made of a fabric, and an elastic member (18), the elastic member is arranged within said pocket, the pocket is attached to adjacent pockets whereby the attachment (32, 32) is formed so that adjacent elastic devices may move independently from one another along a distance (A), as measured from a free end of the elastic device and in a direction perpendicular to the plate member. The holding arrangement comprises a connecting portion (26) and a holding member (22), which is connected to the at least one elastic device via the connecting portion, such that the at least one elastic member is compressed and relaxed over its entire length during movement of the plate element in a respective direction, wherein the connecting portions are arranged on a straight line, which extends through the center of two or more attached elastic devices.
Dual-Layered Fabric For Use in Pocketed Spring Assembly
A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of individually pocketed springs. Each string is joined to at least one adjacent string. Each string has first and second opposed plies of fabric and a plurality of pockets formed along a length of the string by transverse seams joining the plies. At least one spring is positioned in each of the pockets. The double-layered fabric used to make at least some strings comprises two layers of non-woven spunbonded polypropylene fabric to reduce noise. The layers may be ultrasonically welded or point bonded together.
Chair and Chair Lifting Adjustment Control Mechanism Thereof
The present invention provides a chair and a chair lifting adjustment control mechanism thereof. The chair lifting adjustment control mechanism comprises a base, an executing member slidably connected to the base for pressing a pushbutton of a telescoping member, and a drive-by-wire assembly with one end connected to the executing member to enable the executing member to produce a horizontal displacement. The drive-by-wire assembly comprises a dragline with one end connected to the executing member, and the executing member has a driving ramp for facing the pushbutton and pressing or relaxing the pushbutton during the horizontal displacement.
